Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Treadmill 45 min some running then some hill climbing
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
@mshawski i hate the treadmill too. It’s like I no longer know how to run, my pace is so much slower and I don’t last very long. 🥴8 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes - 20 minutes of yoga.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? No, slightly over.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes.
Pass days used - 1/3 (Jan 3)
We had dinner at an aunt's house tonight, and while it wasn't a blowout, there were a few choices I could have made at the dinner and beforehand to help me not exceed my calories.
Just knowledge for these future situations7 -
Congrats to all of the December champions!! Such a difficult month.
Yes x 3 for me today. It was sunny here today after a very gray December so I bundled up at noon hour, put some sun screen on my face and ventured outside. Unfortunately it was icy and there were a lot of sidewalks that weren't shoveled so although it wasn't much of a heart pumping walk it was good for mental health. I climbed some stairs for 6 minutes when I got back inside just to get some decent cardio for a few minutes but didn't record it.5 -
@Juliexx00 - Right? Like I’m almost a full minute slower on the treadmill than I am outside and it somehow is so much harder 😂🤦🏻♀️3

Monday January 3
Last day of antibiotics and fingers crossed this is all behind me now.🤞🏻 Was really tired today and didn’t feel well. Did a rapid Covid test at home and it was negative. It was 8:30 pm by the time I got on the treadmill, but I did it. 🌟
✅ Tracked it all
✅ Calories over base and did eat some of today’s exercise surplus. Yesterday, I left more in the bank than I ate. I am starting to see a pattern in when I am very tired and feel poorly and I need to better regulate my calorie intake. This should be easier off these antibiotics that make me so Ill.
✅ Exercise 55 minutes on the treadmill; 10,700+ steps so far today.
I’ve committed to 10,000+ steps a day for the first twelve days of January and will re-assess my daily step target at that time. 3/3

@mshawski, @Juliexx00 I am totally with you all about the treadmill. I hate it. I have one and tried to get used to it, but recently realized that no matter how silly it probably looks, when it is cold outside I prefer walking little laps around the pool table in my basement (passing my darn treadmill every lap) than to use it. I realized just the other day that for me I need to be able to adjust the pace too frequently and to feel more in control of the pace-- that I need tiny little slow downs and occasional pauses that I just can´t do on the treadmill. On the treadmill I start to hurt, my hip and foot with arthritis and my muscles with lactic acid, far sooner. Probably should just get rid of the thing, except I am holding on to it just in case I ever feel up to running on it again.

@mshawski , @Juliexx00 , @ideas2 I agree, I don't like the treadmill either! But there's still snow on the ground so if I wanted to get a run in I had to suck it up and use the treadmill. Kept it to a short, slow jog. Looking forward to being able to run outside again soon!
3 Yesses 🙂
Exercise - 30 minute jog on the treadmill (plus a 10 minute warm up walk and 10 minute cool down walk)

Gotta tell ya... I've not been eating well and I feel like crap. So things are going to have to change. I may not hit calories right away, but I'll get closer.9 -

It's important to stick around the UAC and continue to post everyday..... even after you've used up your 3 Pass Days for the month. It helps to keep you in the habit of tracking and logging every single day by keeping the 3 pillars in the forefront of your mind - even after you feel like you've "failed" and feel like giving up for the month.
No matter how many Pass Days we end up using, it's more important for us to to keep working at it than to give up, drop out, or just "take the remainder of the month off!"
We need to not think of it so much that we've "failed"... yes, we may not qualify to be in the Winner's Circle, but we are a CHAMPION if we continue logging every day through to the end of the month! Try to think of it as "practicing" for next month's Winner's Circle!!
I think that sticking around and being a CHAMPION is often just as difficult (if not more difficult!) than staying under 4 Pass Days! (just my opinion!)So here's our list of amazing CHAMPIONS for December!!

7 miles walked today
All meals logged
Under calorie allowance
Wowsa @roma7774 7 miles! That's fantastic! I usually do a very long walk on the weekend, I call it my #icecreamwalk , but haven't done that since November. I'm a wimp and I just hate the cold. I know I need to just layer up and go do it, but I haven't been able to muster that much energy yet! Lol.
Kudos to you tho!!
I agree awesome effort!! Xo5 -

Exercise: yes- Treadmill: 1.33 mi / 22 min
I don't hate the treadmill but I don't love it either. It's more that I tolerate it but I'm also not a runner. I read while I'm walking which makes it not so bad most of the time. A couple of years ago I was doing a 5k most days but then went down to 30-35 minutes and more recently I can hardly stand to do 30 minutes so often I do the bare minimum of 20. It's not enough and I need to step it up a bit.
Today should have been an EPIC day but I'm having joint pain again so am only doing treadmill for a few days until I get back on the anti-inflammatory eating plan which will be soon (still have a few things to finish eating). It was quite apparent to me this time around that it makes a difference.10 -

Treadmill run. I hate treadmill runs but it’s winter so… it’s what I’ve got. I think I’m going to look on YouTube for some trail videos I can watch while I’m running so I can at least pretend I’m on a trail.
I had Lightlife Buffalo Tempeh today for the first time (I eat tempeh a lot but never got a flavored before). Holy bananas was it good. It had quite the kick!
Just like the others I also am not a fan of the treadmill altho we hve thunderstorms everyday for the next 6 days so I might hve to join you on the treadmill. Xox1 -
My Word for 2022 is DIVERSIFY
For January, I will be diversifying my types of intentional activity (and creative endeavors - once the 30 Days of Doodles are over tomorrow, I won't be including that aspect on this thread - the UAC Dec thread was the only Daily Accountable thread I was on when I started Dec 6)
Exercise: ✨ core work - 12 mins; balance practice - 5 mins; exergame 31 minutes
Logged: ✨ everything
In Range: ✨ 104 fitbit activity credits left in the pot!
Borrowing the way @DebyS137 celebrates / documents her running streak of consistency as well as pass-day if it happens
(if there is a P=instead of a 🌟, its a Pass Day)

@biketheworld the exhibition is amazing! Glad you were able to go. We went before our son was crawling and he loved it too. It’s really beautiful and great for people of all ages.
I’m afraid that’s 3 passes for me. I ate at maintenance but as we were travelling all day I didn’t manage to exercise. That’s the last one and need to get it together for the rest of this month. I’ll try my best!6 -
Tues Jan 3
Exercise: 15 minutes MommaStrong, 20 minutes quick walk in the cold
Tracking: Planned the day
Calories: Followed the plan - under
Pass days so far: 1 (Jan 1)
Feeling good being back on track. It's always nice when I get back on track and lose a whole pound of water weight - very encouraging. Though it is annoying having to visit the bathroom constantly.
I am proud of myself for being a champion in Dec, and proud of all the champions. Checking in every morning is a very important part of my day.
I am really hoping to be a winner too this month, though.6
