If you are new and want to join in, by all means, please do - we love to celebrate those losses with you! This is the standard format we try to use for these threads:

Name: (if you'd like to share)

My Numbers:
SW: Starting weight before you lost anything.
CW: Current weight at the beginning of the challenge.
GW: Goal weight for the month (what you would like to weigh at the end of the monthly challenge) Try to keep it realistic and SAFE!
LTGW: Lifetime goal weight ( What you would like to weigh at the end of your weight loss journey)

Weigh-ins: What days you will weigh-in; for example, Fridays
1/7/21 = (Fill out after each weigh-in.)
1/14/21 =
1/21/21 =
1/28/21= (final weigh in for the month)
Total WL/G for the month= total weight lost or gained for the month

It was also suggested that we could track our measurements at the beginning of each month to see how we do there, so feel free to add those too this month!

    I fell off a bit but I kept trying to make better choices. I am still down from my highest but this year I would like to keep going

    How is everyone’s week going so far? I have been trying to do some light walking. I hurt my knee and hip a few months back so I can’t walk every long with out pain but I am building up. I’m at 15 mins now. I think I may try and add in some weights this week

    So I was down to 214 last month, but gained 16lbs. I've been dealing with a lot, but I'm ready to take control of this

    Does anyone have any good online work out videos? Or any good recipes you would like to share? I saw one on tic toc where she got a Carmel rice cake and added some peanut butter and cool whip. Omg it’s amazing.

    @Skittles2183 I don't watch work out videos as I tend to do weights, walking and cycling when I'm trying to exercise more but I am always on the lookout for healthy meals that taste good ^_^ I'll start a new post where we can share our fave recipes!

    @Gnawcraft thank you for stating the new post. I’ll be sure to add some of my favorites and keep an eye out for new meal ideas.


    I use to do Zumba at my gym but right now I can’t move much with my knee so I just walk on my treadmill. But I do want to get back into some weight training.

    OMG I lost 12lbs in 5 days! I could hardly believe it. Well keeping busy sure does work. Now to stay focused

    Total WL/G for the month= -5.4 lbs woo hoo I will take this. I know I wont have weeks like this all the time but this was a good week for me. I started really watching what I'm eating, plus cut out a ton of carbs and started walking a bit

    LTGW: 183, but before that I have goals of 299, 267, 256, 234, 201.

    I'd like to add that part of my goal is being able to MOVE. I want to be able to get up and down off of the floor, cross my legs, sit with my knees together, not feel smothered by my belly, and to feel and be more energetic.

    all I am doing is low carb meals, and just walking. and its not even long walks haha maybe 15-20 mins at a time because of my knee. and I try to not eat past 8pm. my lowest was 357 and that was 4 years ago and I am so close
