As usual, the days are going by way too fast. It's hard to believe that January is more than half over!!
Not only do we have a fabulous list of members who are still in the running for the Winner's Circle and Champion's List this month.... but we also have a large group of individuals that haven't used ANY Pass Days yet this month!!! Wow! π²
As always, it's very exciting to see all the names below and to see the new faces mixed in with our UAC veterans!

What a great showing for the month of January! Let's stay strong πͺπΌ π― and keep the accountability going! We've got this!! We are more than halfway there!16 -
Today will be VERY "out of pattern" for me - unlike a staycation day OR a regular weekend OR a regular "at the (home) office" day
It has been pre-planned, pre-logged, and carry-in-car lunch&keep-busy-bag has been prepacked.
A routine (just 'cause he is That Age) medical test for DH, but will involve driving to the Far Side Of Town (30 minutes on dry main-artery roads, but we are expecting all-day snowfall), my waiting outside the facility for up to 3 hrs, then driving him back home. I will be reading a lot while I wait ....
Now to see if The Plan holds together ..... βββπβπβπβββ12 -
Photo of my favorite breakfast, 4-6 times per week. It's extra thick rolled oats with shredded zucchini, vanilla, a little ground flax seed and wheat germ, half a teaspoon of honey, and then I rotate other ingredients like berries, apples, banana and coconut, raw cashews, sometimes a little cinnamon and nutmeg. I shred up the zucchini ahead of time and keep it handy in the fridge, scoop it on in there before I microwave it. I hardly notice it's there, it's vury vury purdy, and gets me an extra serving of veggies!
I've saved it as a meal and then just edit it for additions. Around 300 cals and very filling.
checked all three boxes today!
I've used 2 out of 3 pass days so far.
I hope y'all are doing well. I'm grateful for this group.

@revlish - that does look yummy. I do something similar but I never thought to add zucchini. We keep shredded zucchini in the freezer too - itβs a great way to use up the excess from the garden and really comes in handy.7
-
@BMcC9 -hope all goes according to plan! What are you reading? I am reading βthe Lincoln highway β by Towles. Itβs really good
NOT according to plan - "major snowfall warning" morphed to flat-out "BLIZZARD warning" and we couldn't even safely make all the way out of our community, let alone to the Far Side Of Town. Even the buses were having a hard time and skidding at corners!
So meal plan will be a more normal plan after all - medical test rescheduled for NEXT monday .... forcast is more like π₯Άππ₯Άπππ₯Ά (and I can go in and out of shopping strip-mall stores to warm up as needed ... )
DH is NOT looking forward to doing the required prep alllllll ovvvvver a GAIN

right? Great idea to freeze! I can't wait to have a garden again.
I added some of the shredded to my oat pancakes last weekend and same- couldn't taste it (although I love zucchini, not sure about tasting it in my pancakes...maybe savory crepes... anyway), couldn't even see it. Delish.

Wow that's a huge list!!! Well done guys! Xo5 -
We have somehow managed to have a very mild winter so far. I know you east coast people have been hit hard. I donβt think weβve had 10 inches. The ground is white, but barely. I actually like winter as long as I can get out and have some fun - sledding, skiing, etc. Today I went ice skating - something I havenβt done in at least 15 years and was worried about falling and breaking something. I was a little wobbly but overall did good and it was great fun. Two of my daughters and their families came.
3 yeses today but long past the 3 pass days.7 -
