I am started my weight loss journey February 2021 and to date have lost 50 pounds. At my age, 65, the body does not bounce back, skin sakes and many wrinkles have appeared. I am hoping toning am help. Any advice?

Good work, @cherylcc ! It can take a few years (especially as we get older - I will be 58 in just over a month) for our bodies to use up the extra no-longer-needed skin 'flappiness.' It's called autophagy and it's when our bodies break down unneeded/old cells and repurpose the amino acid protein chain components. Toning is helpful in that it firms up the muscles that are below our skin, so definitely do what you can about that.
For more on autophagy here's some links: https://medicalnewstoday.com/articles/autophagy

Keep it up, you'll see results. Even if you don't it's better to be healthy internally, than plumped up and 'line-free.' ;)

Building muscle will help in some areas, plus it's always nice to be stronger as we age, muscles help protect joint and bones...I definitely noticed that when I lose a large amount in one area it takes about 2 years for the skin to adapt, so don't get too worried about it in the beginning, just give it some time and it does get better.

    Ditto on the muscle building.

Unfortunately our skin becomes less elastic as we age, and subcutaneous fat makes our skin tighter, so the wrinkles aren’t as prominent until we start losing weight. Building muscle helps, as well as staying hydrated and protecting your skin from the sun.
