@laurelfit57 Enjoy your son's birthday, Dairy Queen cake sounds tasty, glad you can squeeze it in!

@trooworld Have fun at the sip and see!

@TeresaW1020 Glad you're getting back to puzzles, sounds like you're doing good at making some time for taking care of yourself.

Hi everyone, happy Saturday night! Not much new here, I'm starting to think my allergies may be really bad and I don't have a cold, I'll see if nothing has changed in the morning before I decide, I've been staying home in case I get anyone sick (plus am a little grouchy because I don't feel good). I made pork chops and veggies for dinner, the greens and herbs were from the garden which is always fun to cook with. Spent some time in the yard, did a workout challenge (my friend does them for us on weekends) with lifting weights (not going to even look at the 20lb ones!), and have been reading an Anthony Bourdain book and that's about it here. The head of the food bank farm contacted me to thin out the seedlings but since they lock the parking lot on weekends I'll wait until Monday to do it so I don't have to walk too far. Tomorrow's same thing, nothing else has come up, it's been a mellow weekend. Have a great Sunday!

I'm not sure what caused the weightloss because I ate terrible. I've asked around and some are calling it carb cycling. Tomorrow I go full time on the body cleanse/detox. I'm also going to start running again.

    @leonadixon @askewcr @19shmoo69 Congrats on the losses!

@laurelfit57 Thank you! It was fun. :) LOL...well, I'm still not used to fasting and I hope I can get used to it. Yes, definitely take a pic of Vannie in her backpack!!! Boo to the snow! That's great you were able to work it out to only go to the gym 3 days. Girl, I'm in bed by about 7:30 every night! LOL I'm glad you had a good time with your mom. Enjoy the tacos!

@Katmary71 Thanks, it was fun! I'm sorry about the allergies. I hope it gets better soon. Have a good Sunday!

Hi all. Not much going on here. I have a bad headache so I may go back to bed. Have a good Sunday!

@laurelfit57 Yes, to us all learning to better hone our self-awareness skills. Not always easy but definitely important. How nice that you got to get out with your mom and see a movie. A popcorn lunch sounds awesome! Happy birthday to your son and yum to Dairy Queen ice cream cakes! :)

@Katmary71 It is allergy season here too and hubby and I both have itchy eyes and runny noses. My clean red car had a nice coating of yellow pollen on it after church today. Take it easy and stay away from those 20 lb. weights!

@trooworld Awe, I hope your headache goes away and that you have been able to enjoy the day. <3

Hi Team! Not a whole lot going on today. We went to church and then out to eat at Jason’s Deli. I do love their salad bar! Joe has a deacon meeting this evening and since he isn’t driving right now, I’m going to take him and do some office work at the church. If all goes well, I might not even need to go in on Tuesday. Today is also my official restart day for starting IF and turning around my weight gain. I plan to start slow but not too slow. I want progress this month and plan to work to get it! 2022 Word: INTENTIONAL

So happy with a loss this week. I bought a new Traeger grill on friday, and we celebrated my father in laws 60th birthay, so lots of meat all weekend (still stayed away from sugared drinks and most of the carb rich extras).
Mostly lean meat, so not worried long term caloric wise, but the sher weight of the meat is substatial this week.

@laurelfit57 @Globog @Cornanda Congrats on making it onto the leaderboard!

@TeresaW1020 Thanks, I took migraine medicine which is a trade-off: it takes the headache away but then makes me nauseous. :( I took a nap and felt better eventually. That would be nice not to have to go in on Tuesday, I hope it works out for you. Good luck with your reset! You've got this!

    @fatfifties Congrats on the loss!

@Glombog Still lost after a celebration, that's awesome!

Hi all. My headache is better today. Hopefully I can last through my IF period today. It may be harder at work.

Hi Slims- I did not do great with eating this weekend. It was nice and relaxing though. Hubs and I decided we were tired of house and yard work and so we took ourselves out to poke around some stores we felt like exploring. We bought a blueberry bush. The weather has been awesome, so we enjoyed it in our patio chairs. My pooch is not doing great right now. He still enjoys being outside. We put an old comforter down when we sit out there and he goes to sleep on it. The breeze blows his ears. It's very cute.

OK, I'm off to do my strength work out. I have not been following through on run/walks. They have stayed walks. Perhaps that is what I need to work on this week.

    My Spring Challenge commitment is:
    1) Read for 30 minutes a day or use my Scroll Saw - I'm reading "Run Rose, Run" by James Patterson and Dolly Parton, I'm really enjoying it.
    2) Move at least 30 minutes a day or walk 3000 steps - 3507 steps so yesterday.
    3) Weigh everyday - 164.3

Dear Team, I have been absent working on my mental health which is easier said than done. That suggestion of "just accepting it and moving on" made me very angry for about 3 days. I didn't want to accept it and move on, I wanted to say, "it's not fair, it's not right, why does it have to be that way?" But of course, in the end I realized that I couldn't change it and I've known that all along. I think I've mostly accepted it now. It's hard to accept that it's going to be that way forever and ever. Now I just need to put things in place to deal with it when it crops up again.

I have stayed on track and below my calories every day, but I have wanted to eat over, but I know its not good for me and it won't get me to where I want to be. I've been eating really close to 1200 calories a day.

Do you ever have one of those day's where you just want to be told that you are Beautiful? or You look Great!? or Thank You for being so thoughtful?

@Cornanda I'm sorry to hear that your pup is not doing great right now. It's good to take time off and just enjoy doing things that make you happy, something different for a change. I would not stress over your run/walks, walking is great. Maybe you're trying to do too much right now. Just try to focus just on eating great and worry about the rest later.

@trooworld Boo to the snow is right! We’ve got snow again today, but it is supposed to start getting nice again tomorrow! Sorry you were being troubled again with your headaches!

@TeresaW1020 it is kind of nice win you don’t have a lot going on, but you always seem to fill up your day LOL! I hope that you don’t need to go in on Tuesday and can take it easy :-). Hoping all went well with your IF!! Owning where you are and starting from there, it’s a great new beginning!

@Glombog. Sounds like you made great use of your new grill! Congrats on the loss!

@Cornanda. It sounds like you had a delightful day! All the yardwork and housework will always be there and waiting for you, it’s good to slow down and just do things for the pure pleasure of them, good for you guys! So sorry that your pupper is not doing well, I sure think about him and your family, it’s tough. Lots of love for and from him for right now I am sure♥️♥️♥️

@Fushiakat Congratulations on staying close to 1200 cal! That’s great!

Very fun birthday party yesterday, my son is a true kid at heart even though he is 36 years old. There was so much laughing and carrying on, I am afraid my family gets to be very loud talkers LOL. I did a spin class yesterday before the birthday party, then I did my regular one today, can I just say “oh my aching butt😳! 🤣
I was very lucky and excited that I had a loss this week. Although I kept within my calories eating popcorn and ice cream cake can’t be sustainable LOL. It is snowing here again today, they have promised us that after today it is going to start warming up again!

Hi everyone! I had a BBQ last night then today's been rainy, hope all the pollen is out of the trees! I'm flared up from both and have been in bed reading and napping. Hope allergies are better for all of us soon, I was popping a little too many Claritin and it made my vision blurry so I'm back to 2 a day plus eye drops and Flonase. Have a great Tuesday.

@FushiaKat - thanks. Wishing you well on working through your issue. It sounds like something that is very hard to accept, but you understand that's what's best for you. A friend of mine who is going through some serious health issues told me "It's just too much work to be angry all the time". That's a hard place to get to, but good for the soul.

@TeresaW1020 - that's right girl! Own it and then get fasting! You got this!

@laurelfit57 - thanks! Does it snow on the spring bulbs up there like it does in Wisconsin? The winter/spring season can be tricky because first you got your shorts on, and then the snow comes back. I'm sure you will enjoy all the warm days. The birthday party sounds very fun! Congrats on your loss!

@Katmary71 - Glad you had a nice BBQ and oh that pollen! Feel better!

Yesterday, I struggled on my strength workout again. I've been very lazy with strength in the past several months. I tend to skip the exercises that focus on my weak spots- shoulders, abs, lunges. What is the point of babying the weak spots?! I gotta make them stronger! Also. I've only got a couple of weights out. I could use a few different ones- they are boxed up in the garage and for the past two weekends it's been on my list to unpack some. Definitely need to get that done. I've decided that I either have to choose a bit easier strength program, or give myself permission to only do part of these workouts. As I get stronger, I should be able to do more.

    Happy Tuesday!

@Cornanda I'm glad you had a relaxing weekend. You deserve it! I'm sorry that your puppers isn't doing so well. Walks are better than nothing. Hugs Lisa. I like the idea of doing less than perfect. Yes, give yourself permission to do less.

@TeresaW1020 You can do this, Teresa...you've proven it before. Hugs.

@laurelfit57 Congrats on the loss! I hope the snow leaves you quickly. Enjoy your nicer weather! Thanks, headaches are the bain of my existence! It sounds like you had a great time with the birthday. Your poor butt lol.

@Katmary71 It's been rainy here, too. I hope you feel some relief soon. <3

Hi all. It's raining here, a rare occasion. I did pretty well yesterday until after dinner. My husband made brownies on Sunday night and I had some with some ice cream last night. They are gone now so I don't have to worry about that anymore. I made it until 11:15 am before I ate yesterday without suffering too much. I quit eating at 7:30 pm. Have a good day, everyone.

@laurelfit57 Yayy on your loss this week. Glad your son had a great birthday party. My family is extra-loud all the time. :D And ohhh if only we could sustain a diet on popcorn and ice cream cake!

@Katmary71 I love BBQ! Ugghhh to the allergies. My eyes have been burning. :s

@Cornanda, Girl we have the same weak spots! I HATE doing abs and lunges are hit and miss with my knees. I do OK with shoulders except I have this chronic pain in my right shoulder that has now migrated to my collar bone. I can't do push-ups at all anymore. It’s the weirdest thing and I can’t figure out what is causing it and how to fix it. :# Now, you go get those weights out of their boxes and work on getting stronger. Today I used my 40 lb. kettle ball to do sumo squats. I’m so going to pay for that tomorrow! :D

@trooworld You're doing well with your fasting! Dang, brownies in my house would be devoured! They have to be one of my favorite sweets.

@FushiaKat, I’m not sure what people didn’t like about your challenge Bingo but I’m certainly hope you will continue posting more than just your weight. We are here to support each other through whatever is going on. Hugs to you! <3

Hi Team! The last couple of days has been good. I’ve done a couple of good workouts, cleaned the house, and put together two new parson chairs that the pastor had me order for his office. I’ve done lots of church work. Easter is kind of a big deal for us and of course, my wonderful, yet way too busy staff, likes to wait until the last minute to get important things done and then reach out to me to take care of it. And of course, I did. The invite cards and new stage banner have been ordered and my wonderful print man assured me they will be here by Sunday. We both had a good conversation about people and their procrastinating habits. :| My IF is going great, and I feel so good to be back doing what I believe in and know will work for me. I’m incorporating my fasting with my high protein diet and I’m really hopeful that it will yield me some good results.

Hubby and I got the bicycles out today and rode in our neighborhood. I had to get used to the bike again. It was fun. I haven't been to the gym in two days because of babysitting my nieces. We've had a great two days. It's back to the gym tomorrow.

    Let's go get it!! B)

@Cornanda A good thing about lifting weights is you can go back up in strength pretty fast, I hope you figure out what will work best for you.

@trooworld Brownies sound awesome but I get that relief when they're gone so you don't have to fight the urge.

@FushiaKat I hope you continue to share too, I always enjoy reading your posts.

@TeresaW1020 Sounds like you got a lot done and church and are back in the groove with IF, way to go! The allergies are ridiculous, I figure I'm saving money on eyeliner, my eye makeup is waterproof but it needs to dry and isn't getting the chance!

@askewcr Sounds like bike riding was a blast! I'm glad your husband went with you, I think it's great when couples work out together.

Hi everyone! I worked out then was laying around when a phone appointment confirmation text said he'd see me at 1, I couldn't figure out how he'd see me so thank goodness I asked, I was going to shower before bed and just stay sweaty from my workout until after I was in the yard! My insurance offered a patient advocate back when I couldn't get in to see a doctor when my pain condition relapsed, I had to fill out a bunch of paperwork so we met at Dunkin Donuts (just got cold brew with sugar free syrup but it smelled great in there!). He was new and had said I didn't look like my picture, I was 195 at the time so it was flattering, I'm at 152 right now, I think I discredit a lot because I gained some back but he did say I was doing great with my health. Aside of pain I have all the other chronic conditions as well managed as they can be. A bunch of seeds sprouted from the rain yesterday and everything outside was very happy from the rain. I'm in charge of the food bank farm greenhouse the next few days and will be thinning some of the seedlings so they're ready to plant next weekend at the farm. Allergies are a little better, I can't lift weights at all right now as I keep trying to add them back and my back's not ready even for light ones so I'm not trying again until next week. Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Woke up to snow again today. What is that about?? I was planning to get my motorcycle back from winter storage this week, and so ready for spring now.

Am in a good routine working out now. Four or five times a week, following a scedule I've put together. Body weight is dropping, and I am constantly lifting more.
Wife says my bellys gone, but truth is I'm still kind of big

    Just playing with numbers here...
I am so happy with 12.8 lbs down this month.
But...planning ahead for next month...I know it is only four weeks BUT if I do 12.8 then I will reach 99.9 kg in metric. That would be awesome and many years since last time.
12.8 lbs is really hairy goal, but is it possible?

@trooworld - Glad those brownies are gone. They sound delish!

@FushiaKat - I sure hope you won't stop posting here. Hugs!

@TeresaW1020 - maybe we wouldn't hate those exercises so much if we got better at them? My knees are bothering me right now, not sure why. I have a weird click in my shoulder. Getting older is so fun. Yes, you are going to feel those squats today. That is the feeling of taking care of yourself. :) It's so nice of you to save the procrastinator's butts! Glad your IF is going well.

    @askewcr - Bikes sound fun!

@Katmary71 - I'm glad you got that advocate. That's really cool that he said you don't look like your picture! I'm glad your seedlings are happy.

@glombog- I hope you get to ride your motorcycle soon. You are making such great progress! That IS a really hairy goal. It's OK to go for it as long as you don't use it as a reason to quit if you don't quite make it. (see below....)

Yesterday was kind of a down day. I did a step workout and sped up the youtube vid. That was crazy fun. But then some things came up with the pup and also my Mom. And then I ate some stuff. I keep wanting to bail on my birthday challenge. I think I'm worried that I will be disappointed with the result. I'm not giving up yet.
