A great BIG CONGRATULATIONS to all of our March UAC Champions!
A Champion is someone who sticks around and continues to post in the UAC even though they've surpassed their 3 Pass Days. If you're still here, and you're still posting, then YOU ARE A CHAMPION! Very well done everyone!!

Congratulations., Champions!
For those who recognize my name from the first half of March (and Nov - Feb before that) ... I was on a red-eye flight the afternooon and evening of March 17(two planes) to Winchester UK (four hour time difference from home) arriving at my home-away-from-home after more than 14 hours.
April 1 was traveling in reverse (with a five hour time difference) and that trip door to door took ~ 18 hours. (✅❎❎ - lots of airport walking between flights; no logging; calories ???? )
April 2 was sleeping very late / laundry / settling back in etc (❎❎❎ - no deliberate exercise; no logging; calories ???? )
I recommenced logging with breakfast this morning - will do my deliberate exercise as soon as I finish this note, and will be back at the end of the day to say how it went.
More news about my trip will show up later in the "What's on your mind, today?" thread.
It feels like I lost inches while away (averaged 20+ to 30+ flights of stairs per day for 14 days ... 50+ on the first day and 100 on the last full day! The Edwardian Manor we were mining for Family History papers and photos is on the top of St Giles Hill - and had 10 foot ceilings, so 17 stairs between floors (ground to upper and same for upper to attic) Who needs a gym membership if living in a place like that? 😸8 -
My month of April start began with being sick the first two days. Today I can report that I am on the mend and beginning to track. I don't know if I will feel good enough for exercise. I'm going to try to stay with the program.8

Congratulations to all the champions! 🥳🥳🥳 Continuing to report in and practice the habit of accountability is KEY to success. You prove to all of us that the goal of good health and lifelong attention to it is the true measure of success. Well done all!6 -

@BMcC9 Welcome back! We’ll look forward to learning more about your trip on the “What’s on your mind?” thread. Tremendous activity level on the stair climbing while away — not surprised you lost inches! It is a joy to travel to new places, but it sure does take a toll on our bodies. ✈️2

So sorry you have been poorly and hope you feel better soon. 💐 Keep with us? Your health comes first, and pass days happen for illness or many other reasons too. There is no need to leave even (and especially) when we hit the three pass days. Today is the proof of that — as today we celebrate the champions: those who continue to track and report in. Because at its heart, this challenge is about accountability. 🌷6 -

Did I exercise today? Boy, howdy! About 87km cycle including the dreaded Prune Hill. Just under 4.5 hours of active time, average speed around 20km but there were certainly some sprints at and above 30kph.
Logged all my food to the best of my ability. Eating in cafes makes exact counting difficult. But if I'm riding this long, I figure the exact count doesn't matter because I will be under unless I go for the pastry option.
Only one pass day used so far.9 -
A busy day did my flex stuff, my son and I finished the kitchen now need to let paint dry well before hanging items back up, my last task is to transfer the kids growth height back to the door frame then we are done.
A nice walk this afternoon, on the hill on our street I did some cardio work since it’s a really steep hill , I don’t know why I didn’t think of it years ago. I had to watch someone else awhile ago and noticed that they were going up and down the hill and then on their final walk down would continue on their way. Off went the light bulb so as long as the weather is good, no ice on the street and my knees feel good I am adding this to my final walk routine.
I tracked logged and did my workouts.7 -
Sending out kudos to the following for a great day today:
@jjjcat Well done today on the Spin Bike! 🚴🏻♀️
@Winner_in_Life Super job! Could you tell us what happens in “freestyle”? Is it a run/walk combination? Whatever it may be — impressive distance AND you got in an Epic workout too. 💐
@TerriRichardson112 & @Caramel_Apple — solid performance today! 🥳🥳
@Cowphilosopher What a ride today! 🏆 And, sounds like you made good choices nutrition wise to fuel that incredible effort. ✅✅✅
@snowshoe072 Living vicariously through you as you enjoy your newly painted kitchen 🌟 Love the idea of doing the hill for cardio — and isn’t it great to find an opportunity like that so close to home.💡 Fingers crossed the good weather continues and it doesn’t aggravate your knees. 🌈☀️
Will check back in later to celebrate everyone as they post today.4 -
Congratulations Champions!

Tomorrow is another swim team morning. It will be the first full week. Hopefully I will continue to have energizing mornings without serious burnout. Walked Flowertown Festival yesterday and had a nice circuit workout today. I will also be seeing the grandbaby tomorrow. I really need a great nights sleep. Hubby is continuing to wake me with his snoring. I find I don't rest until after he is gone to work. Then the phone begins to go off every morning at 8 am. Once or twice would be fine but no this thing just blows up from 8- 8:30 solid. I guess no rest for the wicked.7 -

1 pass day used, but gym class done and everything tracked.
Today wasn’t a good day plan wise. I had to ask my trainer for Tylenol mid way through class becuase I feel like I got hit by a bus, and while I’ve gotten better at the emotional binge eating thing, I haven’t removed all triggers. Resetting for tomorrow.7 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? No another rest day. I did get a short walk outside today. I am going to try to workout tomorrow morning before work. I am feeling better this evening. I made sure to hydrate. My blood pressure has come up as well.

April 3:
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? No.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? No.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? No.
I was feeling pretty run down today, so I took a rest day. Although I didn't overeat - so I probably didn't go over, but I didn't track. I went to church this morning, but nothing much the rest of the day. It barely hit 50(F), so hubby started a fire in the fireplace and I worked on my crochet afghan for my step-daughter who's getting married at the end of the month. I'll share a photo later in the month when I get it finished.
Welcome home @BMcC9 . Can't wait to see your photos!
@RBnorth66 I hope you get to feeling better SOON!!
@Cowphilosopher wowsa! Quite the workout today! Congrats!!
@snowshoe072 Kate, we have a couple of pretty big hills out here where I'm at.... I never thought of doing that either!4 -

Pass day number 2 for me. No exercise led to lack of tracking which then led to eating over calories most likely. First time in 90 days I didn’t close my Apple Watch rings.7
