Happy Easter and happy holidays my beautiful UAC friends. Hope you all had a lovely break. It is a public holiday here in Australia today and hubby is working to bring in some extra cash for us. I went a little off the rails this holiday as hubby insisted we get take out so I didn't have to cook all holidays. Very sweet of him but options were limited due to alot of healthy options being closed. Anyways it's Monday today so I am back on track and plan to pretrack a day in advance to avoid any more issues. I dont know about you guys but Monday always has a get back on track, fresh start feel to it. Anyways tell me what are your plans to stay on track this week? How did you do over the holidays? Looking forward to hearing how you all went. Have a great day!6

@donna25trinity Had no idea you were in Australia. Super cool. Thanks for today's opener.
Well My plans to stay on track are:
1) Time box my week/track how I'm spending my 168 hours/make room for important things
2) Pre-posting my 3 YES to set my implementation intention
3) Looking to do my 20 minute workout in the morning before the day gets too busy
Goal for Monday is to think ahead and prep mentally for the dinners/meals for the week.
But I think doing those three things consistently right now will give me the most return on investment.
My son turned 6 on Saturday and I worked on Easter Sunday. It was a celebratory weekend. I too look forward to getting back on track.6 -

I feel so much better after hearing that cause dispite juggling being a mum, a wife, work, cooking, cleaning, being a sister, daughter and friend I hve still hve managed to get up 5 days a week run, do weights, meditate, hve a shower before bed, track my food as best as I can, be aware of wen I am comfort eating, stick with UAC, go for a walk on lunch break on some days and lastly be comfy eating at maintaince. So yeah I am really not doing too bad. Xo
Wow @donna25trinity !! Seriously! Wow! I'm catching up on posts that I missed over the weekend, and came across this one of yours from the 15th!! YOU GO GIRL!!!! Um, YEAH! You are doing excellent in my book. You make me look "lazy".... Lol. Huge Kudos to you!!4 -

Soundtrack to describe my last week would be "Wipeout". Many stressors. BUT, I need to pull the focus back to my health and get back on track. In 2 1/2 months I have a 80km/50mile bike ride and at the moment I hardly feel like riding around the block. Weather is cold and windy, bike path still has areas of ice and snow. Day 12 of Omicron +. *sigh*.
But I must do this for ME.
I pledge to post daily results for the rest of April.

Thanks for your opening post today @donna25trinity 🐣🐥🌷🌻 Monday is a great day to reset and your energy has brought me to a good moment.
Measuring and weighing everything again to confirm my “eyeball estimates” are on track and keep myself honest with myself. Started today and will keep at this for the full week. So far so good. Underestimated how much peanut butter I could have — so I am a happy camper! 🥜🐒 I find this is a good way for me to help myself when it feels like a bit of a slog to keep going.
Wishing everyone a good week ahead. 💐6 -
Taking a pass day, Im overnight with my daughter to help out with child care tomorrow.
I did do a 30 minute bike ride and 45 minutes in the gym this morning but spent over 2 hours in the car in the afternoon. There were delays on the motorway.
Dinner was chilli which would have been fine on its own but there were Nacho's and cheese as well. So tracking was tricky. And calories were probably a bit over.6 -

Arggghhh! I had typed (on my phone!) comments for several of you tonight, and after all that work...poof! It's just gone! Ugh! I just don't have it in me to do it all again! Sorry. I'll be on my laptop tomorrow where I have a better keyboard to reply. Keep up the great work err'body! 👍 😊4

So happy that I decided to stop in and join the last 15 minutes of a Zumba class at the Y instead of start my usual workout today. I used to really enjoy Zumba but had not done it for about 7 years since I had been gaining weight and had found my old class was no longer fun trying to keep up with. After seeing through the windows how much fun the women in this class appeared to be having, I had resolved to try it when I got under 200 pounds. Well today I tried it--- and found out this teacher/class does not mind at all if people come late or leave early, those I talked to after the class welcomed my plan to come late or leave early to build up a few more minutes each time, and one even called me ¨brave¨ for being willing to walk in and start dancing with them.
My plan for staying on track right now is focused around working with my husband on our plans for expanding our vegetable gardening and cooking together and getting more regular in the time we go to they YMCA together. My tracking habits and eating lifestyle is getting pretty well established. In the past, my healthiest eating and exercise habits came to an end after sabotage from my husband, but this time around the thing that is different is that he is doing it too-- so my thinking right now is that building this type of retirement lifestyle and encouraging his participation (because he likes vegetable gardening and cooking together and going to the Y at the same time) actually gives me the best chance of being able to sustain it without sabotage.

My plans to stay on track: making sure I weigh/log/track my food as well as get my workouts in every day. We're going out to dinner tomorrow night, but it is to a place that posts the calories/nutritional values so I can plan accordingly. Over the next two weeks, my daughters and their boyfriends will be coming home at various times and we've got a lot of activities/meals planned. I may treat that time period as vacation-mode and set my goals to maintenance level to better manage calories.4 -

@donna25trinity We were really busy the week leading up to Easter so we actually didn't have an Easter dinner this year which is unusual but on the plus side I didn't have to worry about navigating a big meal. My husband did get me Easter chocolate so I'll portion that out over the next few months.5 -
