I was 180lbs on April 1st and the weight slowly creeped back up. So I decided that I needed to set realistic goals for myself. I am aiming for 1lb trend weight lost. My past week weight was 185.7 lbs1 -

I traveled 400 miles today (10 hours due to stops, construction delays and a detour). I feel great. This morning I almost bought a bag of mini donuts (in hand, making their way to the register😳) but I put them back when I saw the sandwiches and fruit. Not a stellar day but am under on calories.3

Hello all! So this is super late, but am happy to be joining you all in October. I’m 35/F, living in Oregon and am now a year into creating a healthier lifestyle. I’ve lost 50lbs and feel stronger, have better mental health and have improved my lab results.
My maintenance month has now turned into 5 months when I wasn’t looking. I’ve been tracking everything for the last few weeks but have not hit my deficit goal yet
Main goals this month are to continue tracking and do my strength training. Again going for a .5lb deficit each week. The Loseit subreddit is doing their quarterly challenge, just started this Friday. I am going to try and participate in that as much as I can. Teams win by participation/activity minutes/steps vs weight loss. It’s good encouragement to keep up healthy habits

Not surprisingly since I was in the hospital due to recent chest pains with new diagnosis of heart failure 😥😥

Part of having decreased heart failure is I have to decreased my fluid intake tremendously so threw out my Gallon motivation bottle 😥 and ordered a 64oz bottle yay me. (You know me, try to find the positive in very situation)

My eating plan is going good. 😋 Also received good news: my PCP said my decreased heart function is REVERSIBLE all I have to do is continue loosing weight and get back up to 50% so that's the plan. It's not as bleak as I thought. See why it pays to remain positive in each situation
