    I want to update and than everyone for your continuous prayers and support.

    There has been a very small break through this morning. However, the doctors are telling to be very cautious because anything can still happen but we know God is in control.

    Millie is more alert and recognizes people.
    Angie's sedation medicine is being tapered down to allow her to be alert and see if she responds.

    Update on my family.

    Millie was sedated and restrained because she became very agitated when she was asked about her daughter. She pulled her feeding tubes and has been under sedation.
    Angie, her daughter, is still receiving dialysis and is on the transplant list. They both have fever and things are still very cautious.

    So sorry Bruni!! Indeed a mothers love!! I'd react the same way to get to her to hold her. Most of us would. I hope that Angie can get the transplant. Infections in a hospital are on the rise. I had surgery in May and am still dealing with the infection from it. Please take care of you so you can be there as the time goes by. Prayers continue.

    I am just seeing this as well. I am praying the Lord touches this family with His precious hands and will continue to bring His Holy Spirit to them as He is the Comforter.

    Thank you all for your kind words.

    They continue to improve little by little but still being cautious. At least they are having more periods of being awake. Waiting for surgery for Angie if she gets strong enough.

    This time of the year we are Thankful they are responding.

    The last update on my family was on Thanksgiving Day.

    Millie is out of ICU for now. When she is more stable she will be sent to a rehab facility to learn to walk again.

    Angie has stopped dialysis but still in ICU. She is very depressed and still needs lots of surgery.

    Thank you for all your prayers. The power of prayers is strong because there were times when the doctor's didn't give them a chance of survival and here it is 2 months after the accident and they are still fighting to survive.

    I am so glad to read that there's been improvements. They both definately have a long road ahead of them. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with them both.
