I hope everyone is staying the course. Basically I can't have "a taste."

I can't have even a 'taste' also - not just because of the possiblity of weight gain but with kidney problems doing something like having a taste of a 'treat' harms it more

I totally get it. My experience with the forums is that the holiday treats are a slippery slope for a lot of people. They get out of hand, and people are in recovery mode come Jan 1.

Neither can I, because once I taste I then want and crave more. If I don't have a taste I am ok with not eating it. Food is no longer a treat. Found other ways to treat myself.

Sometimes it is easier (or more practical) to abstain than to moderate.
