I'm at Disney World for my 10th straight Dopey Challenge. The 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon went pretty well. Tomorrow is the full marathon and it's going to be warm. Wish me luck! Between Hurricane Ian, COVID, and a death in the family I've done no training so this will be tough. I'm at 29/75.

@JANET - Good luck tomorrow!!! I'll be thinking about you! :flowerforyou:

@darkrider42 - thanks for updating, and thanks for the good wishes. I'm sure they must have helped because I did finish, just barely. I think I was 10 minutes ahead of the "balloon ladies" who keep the minimum pace.

@lovemyalex - so exciting that your daughter did the Dopey Challenge too (and no doubt in half the time it took me LOL). Congratulations!

@lovemyalex and anyone else wondering -- the people who have done all 10 Dopey Challenges ("perfects" in Disney speak) got a special gift this year on the 10th anniversary. It was a lunch box that said RunDisney - Perfect Dopey and inside were a hat that said Perfect Dopey, some really cute Disney cookies, and a gift certificate for Otterbox.com. Registering for the 4 races costs about $700 each year so people were joking that it was a $7,000 lunch box hahaha! But it was nice to be recognized. Is your daughter coming back next year? We had some good running weather this year, which was nice.

Wow… that was nice to be recognized for all your accomplishments… the lunch box thing is way to funny but also very true… Cindy said the race money is just the first of all the money she spent … she also said she was probably going to do the Princess race with her two daughters next year… congratulations once again… 😊

CONGRATS to @LIBI_KK for making GOAL in December! :star:

I am in absolute AWE of both @JANET and @LOVEMYALEX's daughter, Cindy, completing the Dopey Challenge!!! I don't think I could even ride a bicycle that far and that many days in a row! Your strength and determination is off the charts. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
