How many 5% Challenges have you done? I have done LOTS on Spark--wish I had found sooner than I did. They help me!
What do you like to do for fun? Reading is the best! But I walk/exercise as well.
What major city do you live in or near? State? Live near NYC but don't like to go there. Also live near "the shore" but am not a beach person.
What are you health/fitness goals for this season? I fell in Feb while skiing so I'd like to just get back to 100%.

What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy being with family and friends and outside. Gardening is always fun, walking, cooking, reading, bird watching. I hope to get back to biking, swimming, travelling.

I'm a Canadian living in the province of BC, between Prince George and Prince Rupert.
What are you health/fitness goals for this season?
I hope to be more active and lose some weight. If I lose 15 pounds, I would be in a good place, but not all in this challenge. Losing weight at a reasonable rate would be sensible and easier to maintain. 5% loss in 6 weeks would be great.

Hopefully, caring and fun.

I love purple, my 2 year old granddaughter's favorite color, too. And we both love dancing to "Abba" and many other kinds of music.

How many 5% Challenges have you done? I started with Sparkpeople; so, to many to remember.
What do you like to do for fun? I like to read, watch Youtube videos on gardening and raising chickens. I have a few regulars I watch who raise all types of farm animals. My favorite is hanging out with my Rhode Island Reds.. who knew a chicken could make a good pet?

What are your health/fitness goals for this season? To get my weight & blood sugar back under control.. to stop gaining weight!!!
How would your pet or friend describe you? A friend: as the crazy chicken lady for sure! My chickens: over attentive, spoils us, is our Momma.. Goldilocks would say, I'm her best friend because she lets me sit or roost on her lap! Friend's would say: she gives free eggs!
2 fun things about you? I like to laugh and encourage people, hang out with my neighbors 6 year old daughter teaching her all about raising chickens [I gave her one of my babies] as we're learning together! I like to isolate so I can stay peaceful.. drawing, doing Bible studies, reading.. spending time with my husband who is retired.. and text messengering my friends and brother & sister all day [sometimes into the night!😂🤣

How many 5% Challenges have you done? Zero. This would be my first challenge, so I am not sure what to expect.
What do you like to do for fun? I love to garden and explore new places. My husband and I like to take drives and see new places. We love antique shops.

What are your health/fitness goals for this season? My goal this season is to build new healthy habits. I want to have a daily routine of doing some sort of movement that requires effort on my part. It has to be a minimum of fifteen minutes of movement though. In order to change I have to take it back to a very basic concept of just being willing to get up and move.
How would your pet or friend describe you? My pets would describe me as the food truck and lounge chair. That is pretty much what I do when I get home from work.
2 fun things about you? I have a little homestead and love every minute of it. I also work in the vitamin industry so you would think I was a lot healthier. Ha.

What are you health/fitness goals for this season? Drop about 10 pounds and get back into shape. Winter was tough.
How would your pet or friend describe you? Always overbooked and always on the go! But I'm sensitive with a big heart, and very trustworthy and put others before myself (hence my weight problem!).

I can remember names and faces of people very easily, but can't remember a joke to save my life.
I detest shopping of any sort with a passion! I always have: food, clothing, shoes, and as my car has died, I now need to shop for one of those too. UGH!!! (it's been 4 months and I haven't begun looking because I'd rather do anything but so I squat cars when I can, bus it if I cannot, and with warmer weather will be able to cycle I hope!)

2 fun things about you? I have Morton's toe on both feet (second toe longer than the big toe). My eyes were brown-green hazel when I was younger. They were mostly brown and looked a little greener when I wore brown, a color that didn't flatter my complexion, I prayed fervently for green eyes for many years. As I have aged, my eyes have gradually changed and now are as green as they can be. Thank you Father.

Anything else you would like to share? My husband has type2 diabetes and has been told his A1C is 9 and that sugar is in his urine and can cause kidney damage. I have been fighting with him for over 10 years to keep this from happening . Needless to say he didn't listen. Now he is on a high protein diet, I am doing it with him to support him. How many 5% Challenges have you done? This would be my first on My Fitness Pal, however, I did many while on SparkPeople.
What do you like to do for fun? I enjoy my time at the gym, playing with my grandchildren, and reading
What major city do you live in or near? State? I live in Champlin, Minnesota - a northern suburb of Minneapolis
What are you health/fitness goals for this season? I had 5 surgeries in 2022 and have gained about 10 pounds. I would like to lose those 10 and eventually an additional 25. I also need to build up my strength. In June I had spinal fusion surgery and was unable to exercise at all for several months.
How would your pet or friend describe you? My dog Daisy loves me all the time but is frustrated with me because we haven't been able to go on our walks for a long time. My friends would say I'm a kind and compassionate person and a really great mom.
2 fun things about you? This time of year I am busy doing income taxes for my friends and family. In my younger years I was a professional dancer.
Anything else you would like to share? I am a mom of 3 girls and twin boys, a step mom of 1 boy, have 2 daughters-in-law and one really great son-in-law. These children have blessed me with 8 grandchildren - the first a girl, all the others boys!1 -
