Very time poor at the moment. I am preparing some work for a desolate next week of work from my Monday Painters group.
From tomorrow we are looking after DYD’s elderly dog for a week. She is playing in the 8 ball Pool Nationals in England.

February was a good month for me. ‘Right This Minute’ has been very successful and will be added to my Solid Habits.
March I will …..
I have rather a lot on this month so am concentrating on consolidating my Solid Habits this month, particularly tracking CI < CO, staying under calorie goal, and exercise. I am currently maintaining at around 7 lbs below my upper weight limit.
However, I have also decided to resurrect my Happiness Jar. I did this with a friend a few years ago, and still have the notes I put in it then.

Gotta luv autocorrect!!
See it didn’t pick up “luv”, my month is going well good increase in more meals with out meat chicken or fish can’t say I miss them too much maybe it will be more of a challenge once BBQ season arrives.
Completed my challenge early and remain committed to my health and wellness each day,5 -

Rewarded with drop on scale…down to what I was a week ago 167.9
It was ridiculously difficult to not snack at bedtime last night. 1) when I was packing up things to go upstairs to bedroom. Realized I had dried paint on hands still, went into kitchen and felt strong cravings again. The paint took 60-90 seconds to patiently take off as I struggled - Angel devil but as I dried my hands it evaporated…ihad read somewhere cravings last 90 seconds - recommendation was to distract yourself. Well, apparently it worked.
But the fun was not over…
Upstairs watching show with husband - twice very strong cravings. After the second of these I asked if he could heap some praise on me for not going down to get some nuts. He did And I reminded myself that it’s just a habit. After show, intense craving. I reminded myself it’s a craving, I’ll sleep better if I don’t succumb, that I’m not actually hungry…At least 5 severe cravings between 9Pm & 11:15 😮😮😮😮😮 in total.
And here’s the best part. Woke up at 8AM after a great sleep & still wasn’t hungry by 10:30 AM…but had to eat with some medications.
It will be interesting to see how today goes with my raw nut (and healthy cereal) snacking.
Two ideas if I can’t learn to manage this:
Use the “Kitchen Closed” method
Have husband move raw nuts to a hidden location until I have overcome this habit.

Finding myself slacking a bit or it’s a OA flare my structured exercise is waning I keep at my tai chi meditation and some core work but the knees are screaming again more so early more and at night.
Trying another meatless meal for dinner a African red bean and sweet potato stew will let you know if it’s a keeper or not.3 -

Hallloooo fellow goal setters! "This March I will..." post a comment on this thread before the month is over! LOL
I have had a great many pressing concerns on my plate and little time for checking in, but I'm pleased to report that my set of small, stacked habits has been a solid foundation to keep me grounded. No stress eating! No stress drinking! Keeping up with exercise (just 10 minutes a day, but more than nothing) and sleep schedule and hydration and good food choices.
Plus, for the bonus win: I have not felt super stressed out, overwhelmed, or out of control, even though life has piled it on pretty heavily. I mean, wow. That is huge for me. My new little habit is to change my language. I don't "have" to do all these things; I "get" to. I'm not "trying to keep my head above water"; I'm "surfing the tide." Little shifts along these lines have made a big difference in my capacity to handle everything.
All in all, this month has been a good reminder that small shifts can lead to big changes—including, oh yeah, that I'm down five pounds!5 -

March — focus areas
My habits in March (eat the rainbow of veggies; mindful meditation; daily housekeeping task) have really helped me through this difficult month. I used a paper tracker for most of the month and transcribed those results here.

I hope @texasgardnr and @jamcnewman are feeling better. You’re right, @TerriRichardson112, it’s been a long winter. Enough snow has melted in my backyard that I can resume my outdoor walking. I still have a lingering cough, but I feel much better and walking outdoors always boosts my spirits. Tomorrow is my first day back in the office in over three weeks.

First, thank you all for your such lovely notes of encouragement and well wishes to feel better again after being sickie with Covid 😷. that was very encouraging to read them tonight. I just haven't been up to posting on MFP since my earlier post, so I missed reading them when they were written.
I'm have continued to keep feeling better as the month went on, but I am definitely still dealing with the fatigue and the lack of energy, and I 'think' with focusing mentally at times, also 😲. However, I am still committed to doing as much activity as possible, although some days I feel like I have gone backwards. I've began some of the outside work, but the house still is not back in order after the plumbing issues, as more work needs to be done before I can put everything back. I know that I'm not all the way better yet because that has not been bothering me like it would if I was feeling more energetic or well. So... I'm just walking around it all, 🤣 literally 🤣.
@themedalist, I am really sorry that you had been sick with some sort of virus that had you feel quite ill. I completely missed your post when I finally posted mid month, probably at the same time that you wrote yours. Yes, there are a number of other illnesses/ viruses that have been making people sick this winter. With my initial symptoms I was definitely blind-sighted, and couldn't believe it, when my husband and I were both diagnosed with Covid because of our presenting symptoms did not indicate Covid, when we went to the urgent care clinic together.
I have read everyone's posts here also. I am sorry to read that others have been ill also, and I also was delighted to read about everyone's progress and wise words, or whatever all you each shared and posted! I cannot obviously comment individually, but I have read them all. Hugs and love to each of you 💖.
This month I've added a 💖 for each day that I did something that I didn't feel like doing to either help me increase my energy levels /or to get something done, while still recovering. And as I look over my calendar there were hearts on most days (except most Sundays when I don't usually do extra work around the house) in March. I can say that makes me happy to see this!

I have also been continuing doing something intentional toward dealing with my long time friend "paper tiger 🐯". Either with current incoming paper or sometimes with the old paper as well, however larger or small it was, it was a win-win for me. And I'll definitely be happy with that! On my calendar I always draw between 1-3 flowers to indicate either the effort or amount that was done. No need to do that here 🤭.
