Has anyone else noticed that maybe you are great on the food, or maybe you are great on the exercise

Sometimes when I overdo it with working out, I feel hungrier than usual and it becomes hard for me to stick to the calories.. on the other hand the day I eat well I'm so terrifies to mess it up by working out and feeling hungry afterwards that I actually decide to take it easy on the workout department3 -
I ate 1469 out of 1400 kcals and did not exercise so off to a bad start I guess π will try again tomorrow5

Hello @IsraaQ, welcome. This is a very supportive and encouraging group. Some people here are maintaining while others are on the same journey as you.
What we have all discovered is that these 3 rules works whether you are maintaining or losing.- Do an exercise of at least 20 minutes a day (you spread it out 5mins here, 5minutes there). As time goes on, you will find yourself doing more and enjoying it.
- Stay within your calorie budget for the day
- Keep track of everything you ate and drank
Do not give up on yourself. Consistency will pay off for you and later for your kids as they watch you. That is my experience.

Prepping for Easter Dinner tomorrow (will be really tough tomorrow), my daughter came for the evening and we ordered pizza. The good thing is that I knew it was happening, so I had light breakfast and lunch. I had two pieces and called it a day; and under my calorie budget! Now tomorrow will be the true test, 10 people with lots of food. Again will have very light breakfast, lunch - maybe just a yogurt! We'll see!4 -

@StrongerJan - Yes, absolutely. Usually the food part gives me a harder time than the exercise. Don't beat yourself up. Celebrate what you are doing right.

Not a bad day at all! I bet you can find 69 calories to trim or walk 2/3 of a mile to burn off the extra 69 calories tomorrow. Welcome aboard!

Lowest weigh in since Jan 31.
1.1 lbs to go to my healthy BMI.
Eating three meals, no snacks is now a habit.
And I got my steps back to 10K per day.
Working in Rounds of 9 days is also working well. I actually draw empty stars on my daily weigh in sheet & fill them in the next morning if my calories were under, steps 10K, no snacks & tracked all. They are surprisingly encouraging.
