    @Slimmersixties

    I've been thinking that maybe your right and my goal is a little to ambitious.

    If it's ok I'd like to change my goal from 3 lbs a week to 2 lbs making my goal (281 lbs) by December 24 th.

    Sorry for any inconvenience.

    Thanks, Karly

    281- you got this! Let's lock in 💪🏽

    Challenging last few days. Out of town funeral on the weekend. LOTS of work stuff. Very expensive landscaping work is happening. Root canal this afternoon. Road trip for work tomorrow. Etc., Etc. I find myself free-fall carb snacking to cope with the low level anxiety. Realized yesterday how much I really need to work on the emotional eating side of things - it sideswipes me every time!

    Thanks for letting me put that out there. On the plus side, my steps are beginning to feel like a (healthier) coping strategy as well. Will aim to eat mindfully today.

    I am heading out to walk now for a few minutes before I plant myself at my work computer.

    Thinking of you my friend. Reach out if you need anything.

    Anytime some mentions eating to cope with anxiety it reminds me of this quote. It is true when you think about it. Hope things settle down for you.

    Nice loss! The small ones add up.
    @lindamtuck2018,

    Would it be possible to change my weigh-in day to Saturday, instead of Friday. Things have changed and Saturday would be easier for me.

    Thank you,

    I will get it done.

    Got into the cheesy carbs last night. Had a lot of calories left on the table and I didn't approach it correctly. I went overboard, way overboard! The scales are up a pound and a half this morning. Drinking my water as we speak and already went for a walk. A longer walk than I had planned, but all is good. My knee seems to be handling it (still "feeling" my knee) but the rest of my legs are barking at me because of the sedentary lifestyle the last three months. Building up endurance is the only way to stop the barking.
