@Pupowl -- It's really annoying those guys came into your yard and was so disrespectful. Also, it's kinda creepy when you're home alone and have men poking about. It would make me uncomfortable anyway.

Yeah, sent the postcard elsewhere, it has a really nice photo image though so I thought maybe it was your address because you have such nice photos. I should have known though you would have one of Tinus. :-D :+1:

Has anyone here managed to banish sugar from your diet? I really struggle with my sweet tooth.

@Itadakimasu7 I find the more sugar I eat the more I crave it. For me that includes most carbohydrates. It's always a rough couple days for me when I cut back, but once those first few days are over the cravings typically go away. I think typical guidelines are to have 45-60% of your calories from carbohydrates. I personally do better at 40%, making sure I get my 25g of fiber in there too.

    Here’s my weekly weigh-in:

    Name: PatriceFitnessPal
    Weigh-in Day: Thursday
    PW: 141.6
    CW: 142.2

    SW:168
    LtD: 25.8

I’m working to get back on the right nutrition and exercise path. I had some work meetings that interrupted my exercise schedule and my coach was traveling so mornings rows were canceled. I could wake up early and take out a boat on my own but I slept in a little longer instead. So, I’m going to refocus on my routine and weigh my food more until I get back on track. Best wishes Shape Shifters!

@jessicakrall8 - What kind of project are you working on? I'll put out the good mojo for you! I worked in tech for years and used to be the IT specialist :-P

@CasandraW - Did you quit sugar? I seem to be very addicted to it. Lately I've gotten into those nice holiday creamers for coffee. Thanks for adding me as a friend! :)

@Itadakimasu7 Yeah, it seems to be a thing here that people use your back yard instead of going to the front door like a normal person. I mostly feel bad for Tinus, because workguys always scare him a lot and them barging in the garden and knocking on the window isn't helping. I am not really afraid alone at home, because houses here are close together, but I do always have my doors locked, even when I am here. It has happened before that some random guy just tried to open the door. It was after a recent move, and he though the previous people still lived there. I wish I could just build a huge fence/wall around my house so I wouldn't have to worry about all that, but alas.

Good morning Shape Shifters. I had a productive Thursday. I got groceries in the morning and saw they had a single induction cooktop for sale. I already have a double one, but it is super heavy and annoying to grab and put away when sometimes I just want to heat up soup. So I decided to buy the single one. It will be nice for when my mom is visiting as well. Later in the day I vacuumed the living room, mopped and did the dishes. I was blasting some music (the Amazing Devil) with my windows open and an incense stick burning away during the cleaning. That always makes me happy. Happy Friday everyone <3

I don’t eat candies or sweets but I do have a tsp of honey on my yogurt. One candy leads to another and another and another LOL

@bearchested Can you be a bit more specific? I assume that includes this Friday as well. When are you able to weigh in again?

Finally a loss! I put more energy into eating better this week and logged everything. Going to try and stay on this path. Halloween candy is now in the house, so I need to be careful not to indulge on that. Unfortunately I started feeling unwell on Wed and tested positive for covid. It's really knocked me over. Hoping it doesn't last long.

    Welcome to the group @DarinGettingHawtin2013!
