Today was the long bike ride because my husband has Friday's off at the moment. Today I had to take a lot of hills and I'm a huge chicken. It went okay though, brakes work, lol
The light was harsh today and I wish I could have taken better photos. We went to the lake and all around the park area.
How are we this close to November already??! Wow

Good morning Shape Shifters. The weather wasn't very nice here on Friday and Tinus got wet several times. It already started early in the morning after I took a shower. He was very vocal and wanted attention, so he decided to lay down in the bathroom in front of the shower door where the floor was wet. We went out a few times in the rain as well. Instead of sitting under the shelter, he wanted to be out in the open. There was lots of laptime as well.
I tried to order the TRX suspension trainer a few days ago and discovered they don't ship to my country at all. So I did some more looking around and decided to buy a book called Hybrid Calisthenics. I like the guy who wrote it and watch his stuff on youtube. It is similar to TRX in the sense that it uses progressive bodyweight exercise, only with little to no equipment, so buying the book instead of the TRX saved me a lot of money. I am looking forward to try out the fitness routine. Happy Saturday everyone

I know it hasn’t changed much week over week, but the days during this week were really odd - fluctuating by up to three pounds. In looking back, it seems like I tend to flatten out on my weight loss for a while then resume the gradual decline. I’ll take the loss and go on with my happy self!
Hope everyone has a great day!2 -

I just became the backup for the Authorization Manager, who handles setup for various systems, profile and roles at our company, for all of North America, Caribbean and Central America. I've been training for a month and yesterday was my first day flying solo as my colleague is out of the country on vacation. It was hectic to say the least but I was able to handle everything. I have a few people I can contact for assistance, but they're overseas and were already gone for the weekend, so I'll hear back from them on Monday. I just want to keep up and keep my head above water, so to speak. I'm sure I'll make mistakes, but thankfully, everything is "fixable".
I'm usually dealing with EDI transactions and issues with Logistics or Demurrage, so this is completely new to me. I now have a whole new respect for what she does.
Thanks for your kind words. I came home, took a walk, did a few chores around the house and went straight to bed. I was exhausted. Hoping @pupowl isn't too mad at me...I just couldn't do anything else last night.

@jessicakrall8 I'm glad you managed your stress & coped with the extra responsibility at work. You smashed it,I knew you would👏👏
I've just completed a virtual 5k with a few friends on here.I beat my record time as I combined a gentle jog with brisk walking in the park & finished off with walking up & down 3 times up these steps.
My legs were like jelly when I finished 😩 but I soon recovered.

Welcome to our team, @MomSpelledBackwards and @lianatherunner! Glad you found us! I'm Jessica, one of two Captains of the team, with the other being @Pupowl. On behalf of us and our two wonderful motivators @Sbus12 and @Cyncia85 , we're really glad you're here.
Take a few minutes if you haven't already and introduce yourselves. I recommend you go back to pg 1 of this thread or check out pg 1 of the November chat thread for Shape Shifters and read our FAQ file. This should answer all of your basic questions. If there's anything I didn't cover, feel free to post and I'm sure someone will chime in to help. I'm sure you'll discover that this team is like a little family and will give you many opportunities for support, help, inspiration, ideas and yes, maybe even a little kick in the butt when needed! LOL Good luck to you in November and beyond and let us know what we can do to help motivate you a little more.
I look forward to celebrating milestones with you soon!

I finally was able to get in my woodland fall hike and photograph mushrooms. It was a lot of fun and a nice crisp day out.
