I know this loss is because I've eaten less due to not feeling well. Once I start to feel better, I'll try to keep my consumption down while increasing activity.

@melaniedscott this cough is a stinker, isn't it? We're in different continents but are going through the same thing! When I went to the doctor on Wednesday, it was -11Β°c and I haven't been outside, other than to the pharmacy, since. I was really hoping it would have cleared by now and just hope I can get back to work tomorrow (I teach and need to talk without coughing every second sentence). It's two weeks now and I've rested my throat and my body (which aches from all the coughing).

Well, not really the loss I was hoping for, but a loss nonetheless. Thank you for everyone who replied to my post, I got some ideas from everyone's and need to come up with one of my own! I really can't can't to get a new fitbit some day because I liked being able to see what calories I burned so sometimes I knew how many I could eat back or if I earned that extra cookie so to speak.2 -

Yeah, it is pretty brutal. I've been out a few times for limited stuff and to work. No bueno. I have two all day trainings coming up next week. I really have to get it resolved.

I plan to keep my food intake reasonably low in calories while getting more steps in.
I did some twist-board and hand-weight exercises today. Not a lot, but it's a gentle start after doing nothing for a week.

Wow!! Look at us! There were some great losses out there this week!
I went a bit crazy yesterday too. After being cooped up in the house too long with the negative degree temps, we met some friends for a buffet brunch with bottomless mimosas. After writing all the food down as best I could, I ended up around 3000 calories too. Mostly in one meal. π³π«’π₯΄
Iβm strictly back on the straight and narrow today.
Here are my steps:

I also had a sugary craving yesterday. My husband brought in a couple of yumnuts, which are very sweet, and after eating one, I felt I wanted more, so I had several sweets, then in the evening I had 3 cans of mojito that he'd also bought. I hadn't felt the need for anything sweet until I ate that yumnut! Anyway, I felt satisfied and I slept well.2
