    @trooworld Yes, my wrist still bothers me a lot but now that I have the correct brace that imbolizes my thumb, I think it’s helping. At least I sleep much better. :)

    @Katmary71 I hope you got everything straightened out with your prescription. That is worrisome. We switched Joe’s drug plan and pharmacy, and I finally have them all moved and filled.

    @19shmoo69 Thanks for the pep talk—I need it! I love the egg holder your wife made. My best friend gives me fresh eggs, and this would be perfect. :)

    @megnolia82 Walking the track while your son practices is a great way to take care of you! :)

    Good morning! Today, I need to go to the office to do my normal work and then put together at least 20 welcome bags for our visitors for Easter. I don’t think we will have that many, but Pastor Jeff is very optimistic. :) Joe is feeling stressed out because he has difficulty comprehending what he is reading. He loves to read the Psalms in the morning, but yesterday, he was really struggling. This set him off all day with anxiety and questions about what would happen if he couldn’t read. I hate this disease and what it is doing to him. He was a professor who taught English, rhetoric, and literature and wrote poetry. It's just so unfair. :'(

    WEIGH IN STILL NEEDED: @Jactop
    TOMORROW REMINDER: @Cornanda @davors19 @trooworld @TeresaW2024 @buniphuphu @ninyagwa

    @19shmoo69 Good morning Darren! Very true and good advice, you remember that too! I like the egg idea do you have chickens? Hm I’m wondering if the pull-out drawer I have for my K cups could hold eggs, if so I’ll send it to my brothers as they have chickens and don’t refrigerate their eggs.

    @laurelfit57 LOL I love that photo of Ty!

    @megnolia82 Great to hear from you, I hear ya about life being too busy. I’m glad the walking is going great, 90 minute practices means you can get in great walking.

    @trooworld I do get it with feeling self-conscious, not fun. Any fun weekend plans?

    @TeresaW2024 I did get the prescription squared away and just put it on a little late. That must’ve been a pain moving all of Joe’s prescriptions. Oh no poor Joe that’s so heartbreaking to imagine, it is a horrible disease. Prayers and love to you two.

    @askewcr Doing great, get it!

    Hi team! Had a good day, spent the morning at the greenhouse starting seeds then finally got half of last week’s homework done. The man in charge of Big Day of Service is such a pain, if it wasn’t helping a woman who really needs us I would’ve told him to shove the project. Someone told me today he likes to “flex” on people who are no threat and I think that’s what was happening last night, he’d originally said we’d check out her yard to see if it was a good fit and last night he told me I’m stuck with the project now that it’s assigned and he wasn't joking plus he made me the leader. I've been running everything by the board and honestly like the project for us I just can't stand him and didn't want him to win by saying yes. I don’t HAVE to be stuck with anything what the heck? We have a rally in the morning before the event I may shove him in a PE locker before it begins haha! Doing good with diet and exercise, I ate a bag of pita chips in the middle of the night a few nights ago so not expecting any drop this week. Have a great Friday!

    Sorry but I thought tomorrow was Thursday.
    Here's the Ice Breaker Question!!!!!

    If you could have a lifetime supply of anything, what would it be? I know most cannot narrow it down to one item so just name them.

    Mine are eggs (chicken, duck and goose), beef, butter, bacon and rice.

    @TeresaW2024 Oh good. And that's good you are sleeping better. :) Poor Joe, I can't imagine what that must be like dealing with that. I know it must be heartbreaking to see this happen to your loved one. I'm so sorry.

    @askewcr @Ninyagwa Way to go!!!

    @19shmoo69 THANK YOU for the funny!

    @Katmary71 Yes. And yes, I do: tomorrow I have to take our dogs to get their nails clipped (which will be very bad), the fundraising ball tomorrow night, and then Sunday I am tentatively going to a sweet 16 party for a doggie. BUT if it is raining (and it is supposed to be), I won't go because it's an hour away in the mountains. I'm sorry about that guy. He sounds abrasive. That's good you are doing good with diet and exercise. Have a great day!

    ICEBREAKER QUESTION: Books books and more books! And I do have a lifetime supply of them lol. Also, art supplies. I also have a lifetime supply of those :D

    @Cornanda Ooh that's a good one. I should have thought of that too. :D

    Hi all. We had a good dinner last night and I didn't cook so it was a win all around: my husband made shrimp Tex-Mex bowls: rice, shrimp, avocado, salsa, and sauteed peppers. It was really good. I haven't entered my art in anything in quite a while so I did enter it in a local show and it got in. It's a crazyish self-portrait. The show is all about portraits and self-portraits so it fits in perfectly. I'm also going to enter the fair again.

    @19shmoo69 😂😂

    @Katmary71 Uggh, why do some people have to be such a pain? I say shove him somewhere. :D Those pita chips are like kryptonite! Aldis has a very tasty parmesan-flavored one, which is one of the reasons I gained weight this week.

    @Cornanda, a lifetime supply of dogs would be great! :D

    Good morning! Uggh we aren’t going to talk about my weight gain. Let’s just say pita chips, pizza, and beer happened. :/ Today, Maggie has to go to the groomer, and I have several things to return to Amazon, so I will be going to Khols to do that. Then I’m coming home and playing with my new vacuum. I’ve wanted a Dyson cordless forever and they are having a huge sale, so I bought one! :D I will never have to sweep my floors again, which causes me a lot of back issues. Have a good day! :)

    Question: I would want a lifetime supply of puzzles! Those get expensive. :D

    @megnolia82 I know the struggle of having to do a lot of things, and balance your child’s schedule. Good on you that you’ve found a way to work your goals into the time spent doing things for your kids!
    @TeresaW2024 I can understand that anxiety of not being able to do something that feels like an integral part of yourself. My daughter is 12 and can read at grade level, but sometimes has anxiety about her comprehension because she worries she won’t get what the teacher wants her to get out of it. She finds reading along while listening to the audio version helps her with the anxiety part.
    @Katmary71 I am so much more petty than you! I would have said something along the likes of how being “stuck” was the wrong word for the privilege of serving your community. Just make him feel like a tool.
    @trooworld That tex mex dinner sounds amazing! Also the fact that you got into an art show is so cool!

    1) A lifetime of Real LIFE.
    2) Willpower to stay away from junk food (this would come in real handy with my night time cravings)
    3) Money (it will make traveling much more fun)🤣😂🤣

    @txcritter69 - I love the outdoors too.
    @FushiaKat - I have also been out in the yard raking. My husband lost his car remote so now we only have mine. I have a basket in the kitchen that I put mine when I walk in the door. We really need to get another one. I bet they aren't cheep though.
    @Katmary71 - Thank you. I would definitely trade the cardio for garden time. you do have a busy life with PT, charities, gardening, and your grant class. Sometimes I wonder how you do it all. You're Wonder Woman!
    @trooworld - My husband has been off work so I have been sleeping in all week. He's feeling better. I guess it was just an infection because the antibiotics worked.
    @19shmoo69 - Thanks for the inspirational thought. I have a similar rack in my kitchen that I use for my fruit.
    @megnolia82 - That truly is a great opportunity for you to get your steps in, and some quiet time for yourself.
    @TeresaW2024 - What a difficult situation for the both of you. Maybe he could listen to an audio of Psalms and follow along. I know it will not be the same. Dementia is such a terrible disease that affects the person and everyone around them. <HUGS>
    @askewcr - You have been doing Great! It's very inspiring.

    My husband has been home all week. I enjoy having him home, but it throws off my routine. I haven't been getting my workout done everyday. I did it a couple days before he woke up. I also have been active by helping him in the yard and cutting, splitting and stacking firewood. Yesterday we went bowling. It was fun, but It's been awhile. I did terrible. I barely broke 100 pts. I've been tracking and staying within my calorie range. That hasn't changed. I'm confident in my food choices. It's staying active that I continue to need to work on.

    Thursday Ice Breaker Question:
    If you could have a lifetime supply of anything, what would it be?

    Money to pay off all my bills and be able to help our son. Cheese, because everything taste better with cheese on it. Coffee!!! @19shmoo69 - I was surprise I didn't see this one on your list.

    Good morning, my peeps! Oliver did great staying his first night at Grammy's. I gave him a bottle at 10:30pm and then we slept until 3:30am. I kept the room dark, so he went right back to sleep after the bottle and dry diaper. My daughter was jealous when I told her because he'd only slept 4 hours at the most for her and usually won't go back to sleep. We brainstormed why and realized it's too light in her bedroom in the middle of the night because of a building light right outside. So she put up a heavier curtain on Thursday and he slept longer for her and went back to sleep quickly for her. So glad we got that figured out!

    I ended up getting sick and was sent home from work yesterday morning. Sydney ended up coming over and doing laundry and visiting, then Hunter showed up with some rice and veggie soup. I love my children. I'm glad they enjoy my company because I enjoy theirs 🥰

    I stayed home from work again today and plan on being super lazy. I hope everyone has a good Friday!

    Thursday Ice Breaker Question:
    If you could have a lifetime supply of anything, what would it be?
    Money - so I wouldn't have to work and I could be a full-time Grammy.
    Crafts - because crafting makes me happy.
    Perfect avocados - no explanation needed 🤣

    WEIGH IN UPDATES
    Weigh ins due now@Buniphuphu @Jactop
    Reminder for tomorrow: @865jessica @Digger61 @gemwolf110 @tammymccrady6278 @vrafer

    Question answer: Good health or a not-in-pain body!
    After that would be cats and time with loved ones.
    If it has to be an object and not something like lifetime groceries or gas I'd pick books followed by plants.

    @19shmoo69 I missed your being under a tack, too funny!

    @trooworld Thanks you have a great day too! Well shoot that would’ve been a fun party but I don’t blame you for not wanting to drive through the mountains. Wishing you luck with the pups trim. My cats aren’t fans of nail trims either. Oh good answer with books, that would be my “object” if it couldn’t be my health or living beings! Followed by plants of course. Yum those bowls sound awesome! Good for you on the entries I hope you do well!

    @TeresaW2024 Yum those pita chips sound good! Trader Joe’s used to have garlic parmesan ones and they’re gone, they were so good! I like Stacy’s a lot but yeah, definitely in the kryptonite territory! That’s awesome on the vacuum I hope you love it, my neighbor just got one and has had a couple back surgeries, she adores hers.

    @ninyagwa LOL that’s a GREAT response, I wish I had said that! I was too busy chanting in my head to stay calm, I’m awful at fake liking people, if I don’t like you don’t even talk to me. Not a good attitude to have in a charity but luckily I rarely dislike people right off the bat. Plane tickets is a great one too!

    @txcritter69 You have great answers too!

    @Veta2018 Thank you! Funny It IS weird to have routines changed when a partner is around more. You ARE doing great exercise!

    @vegan4lyfe2012 Good morning dear friend! That’s wonderful Oliver did great sleeping that long! Wow that’s impressive you figured out how to help him sleep more, glad you two figured it out. Aw I’m glad you and your children get along so well too, I’m glad they took care of you yesterday.

    Hi team! Back to having good workouts though with a storm coming through I'm not feeling the best. No one's been at the holistic clinic most of the week, luckily it's 5 minutes from my house so not a big deal but I'd like to use my membership. I haven't made a stink since I won it vs paying. I went to the store and the card readers crashed on the self check-out machines, after running my card 10 times I without luck I told the cashier who was real fed up at about 10 machines crashing at once that I had almost enough cash we could just take stuff out (I can't stand long so was squatting waiting) and she took what I had and said not to tell anyone vs picking out $15 of stuff. I stopped at the charity president's to load my car with Easter baskets for tomorrow and got my homework done. Going to load the car, straighten up, and head to bed early. Food tomorrow for the Easter baskets for kids in need and food drive are bagels for breakfast and Chik Fil A for lunch. The library is having a seed swap so I'm planning to leave by lunch to go so that shouldn't be an issue.

    This was an unintentional loss. My maintenance range is 127-130, and my current weight is right at the low end of my range. I was trying to adjust for the excess consumed on Cathy's birthday (St Paddy's Day) and it looks like I overcompensated. I was also a little bit more active during this past week because it was sunny outside. Today, winter is back and it's cold, snowing, and miserable outdoors so I won't be doing any walking today. This was kind of a big loss and it took me by surprise, so I'm sure it's quite temporary. If I drop below 127, my pants won't stay up, and I definitely don't want to have to buy new clothes!

    @TeresaW2024 That all sounds delicious but yeah, can lead to what happened. I hear ya. I'm taking our girls to the groomers to get their nails clipped today, too. It should be drama. Congrats on your Dyson! I hope you end up liking it as much as anticipated.

    @ninyagwa It was! And he made up the recipe, he's so good lol. Thank you! It's not my first show but I'm always excited when I get into one. :D

    @Veta2018 I'm glad he's feeling better. It must have felt nice to sleep in. I haven't been bowling in about 6 years but remember it being fun. Sounds like you are doing well.

    @vegan4lyfe2012 Grammy's magic touch! :D I'm glad your daughter figured out how to help him sleep better. Oh no, I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. I hope you feel better soon. Perfect avocados....YESSSS!

    @Katmary71 Yeah, in the rain, but that party is at a winery and it would be super fun. And we could bring our dogs! Maybe the next time. LOL I didn't even think of humans! HAHAHAHA I guess I don't like people. Thanks. I did make it into the one show. I haven't tried the fair yet. That was nice of the cashier, sorry that happened. Ooh a seed swap, fun! Oh, I planted the strawberry mint in the Aerogarden yesterday (finally!). I hope I didn't wait too long!

    @Jactop @865jessica Congrats on the losses!

    Hi all. I had an okay day yesterday, I worked from home and then for happy hour, we stopped and had a beer and split a soft pretzel. I made dinner (Beef and barley soup) but I wasn't hungry so I didn't eat. Today is going to be busy: grocery shopping, and taking the dogs for their nail trims. Tonight, I'm dressing up and going to a fundraising event with my sister-in-law for a local theatre. It should be fun. I've got two outfits picked out, depending on how confident I feel in one vs the other. Have a great Saturday!

    Good morning! Quick check-in before I have to get Joe up. There's not much going on except church and trying to finish this puzzle so I can get it off my table. I've decided to pull the trigger and see an orthopedic doctor about my wrist. It's not getting better, and I'm worried that what I'm doing is wrong. It will cost what it cost. :/ In better news, I started a rebounder workout program yesterday and loved it. So, at least, I found something I can do that won't hurt my wrist and still let me work out. Have a great day! :)
