I am dropping out of the step challenge. I tried lowering my number and I can’t even get those in. To be honest, I’m hanging on by a thread just staying in the group but I’m gonna keep swimming “as Dori says” a little while longer.3 -

Is there anything in particular causing you grief right now? Someone on the team might have some suggestions.0 -

Steps:
April 14th: 5,018
I got close to my step goal. I looked at my watch when I was ready to go to bed. I tried walking around the apartment for a while but didn’t have enough gas in the tank to get to 5,500. It’s going up to 17C today so I will get out for a walk.
Have a nice day all!

I’m just struggling with the care of my mother in law. I like to get up and work out in the mornings but I have to wait until she is up and get her ready for the day before I can do that which can take a while. By that time I feel like it’s cutting in to my time that I need to do the daily chores of picking up, preparing meals, and never ending laundry as she taken to taking off her depends throughout the day and I find out too late. 🤦♀️. These may be excuses but I am dragging mentally and physically.5 -

Does my grill count? I would say I use my air fryer and my grill just about every single day. The grill isn't in the kitchen though, so coffee maker would definitely be next in line. Shout out to Home Goods for carrying a ton of sugar free syrups for when I get bored of black coffee.2 -

"
Hey @Slimmersixties - Way to take control of this. What is it about the RV that makes it work so well for you?"
A few things .....
In the rv ...limited food, always close to the shops so i buy salad etc for 2 or 3 days and don't have snacks!
At the coast its flat and i walk over 10k steps a day
At home ..... more food available as we live far away from the shops
I have 2 houses, a friend lives in one with my dogs and when i go to stay there is always bread, biscuits, chips etc and i eat too much
I socialise with friends one or 2 days a week ... alcohol and more food
I don't walk as 1. It's to rough on the mountains and 2. I'm always busy doing jobs in the house/ garden etc
Reading that it's just a load of excuses!! I really must take control of my myself🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for asking! It's given me some clarity 🙂🙂1 -
