Hi All, yesterday made a re-commitment to myself and involved my girls to keep me accountable.
~ I think it's a mindset/block, but I've been struggling to show up for myself (consistently) I have short bursts of momentum and then it start to wane.
Anyhow, girls and I did a Zumba video last night to start with something fun.
Tonight - we will try a different full body workout video.
I'm the same way. Even though I enjoy training, I need some accountability otherwise I'll start and stop and not make much progress.2 -

Thursday ~ April 18
Good morning Shape Shifters. Thanks for the nice comments about the pictures. I had another nice walk. It was very wet, green and there was frost on the ground when I left. The light was sooo pretty. I saw a lot of cool birds again, but almost all of them were too far away, even for my camera. I forgot to keep track of what else I did during the day and I don't remember, so it probably wasn't interesting. Just some gaming! Happy Friday everyone
This is a good reminder to turn around and look back while on a walk every now and then. I almost missed this.

Thursday ~ I did the bare minimum in exercise but I got it in. Still paying attention to my knee..
~ Iβm saying NO that I didnβt log yesterday because I waited till just before bed which I feel is partly why I went over in calories. That and daughter brought home pizza from her new job and it was too tempting not to try it. I wasnβt sure the actual calorie count because I couldnβt find Beef OβBradyβs pizza in MFPβs food pick list. And so I overestimated to be on the safe side.3 - Track / Under / 20min Exercise?

~ No left over Chinese (luckily for me it was pretty gross)
~ No exercise either, I had to listen to my body and yesterday my body said βyour knee is teetering on the edge again!β Being aware of knee pain is a new concept for me and Iβm finding that itβs really not a joke, itβs not something you can just push through.
I'm familiar with that knee pain. I had some issues weeks ago and had to severely cut back on my walking. I'm doing better now, but still being cautious not to overdo it. So I agree, knee pain is not something you can (or should) "push through". Just keep doing what feels right.

So one of my coworkers was telling me that she was starting 75 hard on Monday, and that she wished she knew someone that would do it with her, so I volunteered. I will alter it a bit, so instead of 2 45min workouts a day, I will do one workout at a minimum of an hour a day, and I don't care if one is outside, lol. But I won't drink alcohol (I rarely drink anyways) I'll stick to 1500 calories, and I'll workout at least an hour a day, everyday for 75 days.7

Never heard of that but can see why it's called Hard. π Good luck and keep us posted.3
