Happy Tuesday, friends! I am out in Texas on a work trip this week, so my eating AND my workout schedule is going to be a bit out of whack, but I'm going to do my absolute best.
As for all of you, here's who I need an update from:

Our match-ups for the last challenge were:- @andja87 vs. @chocohollic
Our first match-up was a CLOSE battle. @chocohollic whipped out 105,619 steps, but just couldn't beat out @andja87 and her 111,469 steps! - @Emilienewme vs. @mnsmov15 vs. @OllieAndEd2021
Our second match-up started with @Emilienewme surpassing her previous week with 82,255 steps, just to be passed up by @mnsmov15 who improved their step count by over 25% to hit 91,918 steps... but they were no match for @OllieAndEd2021 who ALSO crushed their previous week and knocked out 92,394 steps! - @BodyTalking vs. @sydditt
Our winner of the third match-up is @BodyTalking who managed to top their previous week by over 10,000 steps! - @ljdanny vs. @melaniedscott
Our last winner is @ljdanny who somehow pulled off a nearly 40% improvement over the previous week!

Ran my second ever 5k yesterday!
Did much better than my first one as last time I was sick the week leading up to it and just struggled through lol
Much happier with my results this time, official time of 45:06! Almost 6 minutes faster than my first race!
I have already registered for another in September! Hoping to see even more improvement on my time by then!
Hope everyone had a great week and an even better week to come ahead!

My husband returns from CA today. I've had a busy couple of days. My oldest son and I caught our third swarm of bees on Tuesday. My kids started their M-F swim practice this week. Going to try to incorporate a workout there since all three that are swimming are on different levels. We'll be at swim practice from 7-10:30. I have some goals on how to spend that time. I may be a little optimistic about what I'll try to accomplish for the next six weeks.
Going out of town for a wedding this weekend. I'm excited mainly because it will just be my husband and I alone. My five kids are staying with my Father-in-law. Someone from church is coming to stay with Mother-in-law that has signs of dementia. We find out some results from her Neuropsychologist appointment next Thursday. I need to spend today and tomorrow prepping my house for guest and packing.2 -

This week saw some shake ups but @andja87 remains the leader of the pack! Our bolded members set a step goal for the week and met it! As always, if you want to... be bold (heehee), let us know how many steps you want to hit every day on average and we'll keep track of it for you!
@BodyTalking increased their steps by 30% and @Emilienewme 's average was only a couple hundred different from last week. Shout outs for our step ups and consistency walkers! Speaking of consistency...most consistent was neck to neck this week, with the runner up being @Emilienewme. I think the frenemy numbers will be as interesting as @minstrelofsarcasm 's tales of visiting Texas will be.
At the end of week 3, we're less than 20K steps from 2 MILLION...and we still have two weeks of steps!! Way to go walkers!

Oh the frenemy results are going to be juicy! I'll likely post the update tomorrow, as Texas was not kind to my routine and my body has been struggling to recover (especially since the flight back to Ohio got in super late last night and I've got a busy day). Stay tuned!1 -

I took the day off from doing much on Friday because my right knee is swollen and stiff (my doc stopped my arthritis meds a short while ago). I had hoped it would have felt better today, but no, so I forced myself to get 7k steps and will contact the doc on Monday.0 -
