Thank you! I think I've asked that before but seem to have some sort of mental block and keep forgetting. Yes, I do, my goal is 12,0002 -
@DaffyGirl88 I missed your response before the last thread closed! I did get the concert tickets for Marianas Trench, I'll get to meet them for a Q&A before the show too. Can't wait!4

The daily card:We are learning new things all the time. It doesn't matter how old you are, you are constantly absorbing information and learning about the world around you. At the end of each day, reflect on what you have learned. It might be something you discover about yourself or those around you, or a new skill or fact. Share one thing you have learned each day with someone, and ask them about what they have discovered.3

Good morning all! 🙋♀️
My name is Sue, and I am 63 years old. I live in southern Maryland, am married, have two grown kids (1 in Seattle, 1 in VA), 2 grandbabies (VA) and 1 fur baby 🐶. I work full time, currently teleworking. I love to read, ride my bike, quilt, and make greeting cards. I am always up for a challenge and am usually involved in multiple reading, fitness and Fitbit challenges at any given time. 📚🚶♀️
I have been on MFP for over 10 years now. Wow...time sure does fly!! I hit my “official” goal of 140 lbs two years ago but have crept steadily up since then to almost 150, which is my “I must do something now” threshold. It took me years (almost 20) to crack the 150 barrier so I never want to pass it again.
The days are getting longer and warmer so I am looking forward to being able to get outside and bike / hike / kayak. I am travelling 2 of the 4 weekends each month and that is always a challenge for me. We recently bought our “retirement” home in VA near the grandkids so we are going down there frequently, taking carloads of stuff and doing small projects like painting and putting up shelves. I’m looking forward to spending more time there and actually enjoying the time rather than fixing up the house. All in good time I guess. The permanent move is about 15 months away yet.
Anyway, that’s me. I am happy to be here and look forward to another great month!

Welcome new members!
I have read all the introductions and posts but have been rushed on time, sorry for not personally greeting everyone!
It's also nice to find out more about existing members!2 -
Hey yall. With a heavy heart and dread, I'm looking at dropping mfp altogether and just staying on the loseit! App as mfp is making way to many changes and it's not necessarily good changes for all of us to stay motivated. I love being a part of this group. Several friends from this group are already on the loseit app as well and still here as well. If any of you are looking at leaving here as well, or trying the loseit app, my email for that app is rebecca.redmond@aol.com. you use the email to send fr. Like I said I've not fully committed to dropping this app just yet, but msy very soon. If I do, know I love you all and enjoyed seeing your posts.5

Hello ShapeShifters! So happy to join you!
I lost 30 lbs in 2020, got comfortable and now 20 lbs has snuck back on! I tried to just will it away, but have had no luck with that! Strict diary use is what works for me, so I'm back to that!
I'm a 63, married mom of 5. I love to cook and bake. I go to OrangeTheory 5 days/week, and Pilates 1 day/week. I've recently taken up golf. Looking forward to everything this group has to offer, and I hope to contribute positivity and encouragement.
Let's do this together!
Thanks!3 -

Monday Weigh-in
PW:242 lbs (previous weight)
CW: 244 lbs (current weight)
LTD: 37lbs (optional loss to date)
Hi, I am Tammy. I used to be on here a few years ago and was down 60lbs. I have been struggling the last year and as you see I have gained. So I am back and am looking forward to cheering others and celebrating my own wins.
I live in Charleston SC and I am 54. I have 3 adult kids and soon to have a third grand child. I have at least kept up my activity level so I can keep up with my toddlers.
I am looking forward to reading all the wins this month.4 -

This discussion must be magic, I was sitting here typing out complaints over a headache and it went away as I was typing it out
I'll be heading to the eye doctor after work today, and as long as they don't dilate my eyes, I'll probably take a walk. It's supposed to be a super warm day and the office I'm going to has a pretty spot behind it.
Other than that, I've started reading Emily Henry's new book Funny Story. Really enjoying how bizarre the plot is, it's had me kicking my feet a few times lol.
Hope everyone has a good day!2 -
@Armygirlarmyof1 I've seen several people complain about changes but haven't noticed any? What am I missing??
@frankwbrown Congratulations! How did I miss this? I have to go investigate and see how I earn one myself. :-)2 -

It's a Garmin badge for completing a cycling activity on World Bicycle Day, which was June 3rd.
Tomorrow, June 5th, is Global Running Day, so there's a Garmin badge for completing a running activity tomorrow. And there's a Global Wellness Day badge for completing any activity on June 10th.
I chase these badges like no one's business!
This website always gives a heads up at the beginning of each month:

~ We had such a fun weekend though. I did my best and tried to stick with low carb but ultimately the hangover called for greasy food and I caved. Funny how well I do during these planned events. But it’s the days after that I give in to full-on carbs and junk.
~ I’m back to it now because ultimately that type of eating makes my body feel like crapola!

Weigh in June 4 Tuesday
Itadakimasu7
PW back in April before vacation: 198.8
CW (Starting Weight) now that I'm back home: 183.6
I went to Japan. Long and short of it is, I really think we're all being poisoned for profit in the US. No streets and aisles full of sick people.

@Krysless2 We are missing your steps from the 28th until the 1st of June.
@Itadakimasu7 Pfew, such a big loss on vacation! I will get you moved back to the regular team.3 -

They're slowly doing away with the news feed. You may or may not be able to see comments from friends any longer. And notifications will be stopping as well. I've not received notifications in idk how long. Plus the format that has been helpful for so many of us will be changing up as well0 -

@Itadakimasu7 Do you have a weight from last week maybe? The way it looks now is as if you have lost 15 pounds in one week! Or the weight you were when you got back home? Thanks0
