Good morning team!
Strange week for me. I'm in training at work (but from home) and didn't leave my house, except to got to my garden, all week. I did do some digging in the garden, which, let me tell you, is definitely exercise 😂. I also walked A LOT last weekend, which might be why I didn't gain any weight.
This weekend, I must be more active, although it won't make up for my week of no activity, it's a start.
My Saturday morning weigh:
Weight: 186.7 lbs
Have a lovely weekend everyone.💕3 -

Happy Sunday! I really didn’t think I had set myself up to do quite as well this week, but I’m pretty happy with the numbers today. The nose dive trend seems to be evening out now, but the cardio I’ve started doing with my weight lifting is helping a lot.
Lately I’ve been reminding myself that the fluctuations I see during the week aren’t a bad sign, and that the fat burning is still happening even when I get a surprise jump. I’m still really excited about my progress though!
Happy Sunday everyone5 -

~ I started to slack off with exercise this week but I will be participating in the 1-Up challenge. Thank you for these little side challenges @jessicakrall8 . Not only did it give me some much needed wind behind my sails, but it also gave me a good dose of nostalgia and so I dusted off the old Nintendo gaming system. Too bad I don’t get nostalgic over physicallyy active games like Wii.. Lol4 - Net Calories ( 11145 / 10500 )

The daily card:Physical movement-such as running, dancing, or active sports-brings us into the moment. When our attention is resting with the body and its movements, there is less room for agitating thoughts to spin us into worry. This restful but dynamic state is available all the time, and the best way to encourage it is to put all your attention on how walking feels as you're doing it. Let yourself become the walking, and enjoy how connecting and peaceful that experience can be.4

Hello Shape Shifters. Yesterday morning I got a delivery of a new willow tree to kind of fill up the hole where the holly tree used to be. I also got 3 sets of support posts for trees. The willow I already had didn't have good support and it is a little bit crooked because of it. This tree doesn't get any bigger though, so it's not really a problem. Now it has a very sturdy post pulling it straighter, so maybe it will sort itself out. My hawthorn didn't have good support either. I had an elastic fitness band tied to the fence for it to keep it in place. The wind here seems to mostly blow from one side, so it has worked well, but I wanted something more secure for that tree too. And of course the new tiny willow got proper support as well. It took me around an hour to put in the new willow, dig the holes for the new wooden posts, hammer them in the ground, refill up the hole around the posts and nail the bands to it. It was a pretty fun job and it always makes me very pleased when I can get stuff done on my own. I know the posts look like they aren't in the ground very far, but these poles were over 2,5 meters long, so around 1/3rd is in the ground. They feel very firmly in place to me. I really love these willows since they are cheap, don't get big and they look cute with their green and white leaves. I hope the new one will do well. Happy Sunday everyoneI doubt this is very interesting, but here are the trees now.6

Good morning Shape Shifters. I had a nice walk with my camera yesterday. There was finally some sun, though it was also super windy. The first part of the walk was a little boring, but later on I saw a lot in the space of only 15 minutes or so which was awesome. There was an adorable hare hopping towards me on the trail and it took him a while to realise I was there. A little while later, he did the same thing on a different path, calmly made a u-turn and sat around for a bit. He was super cute. I almost never see hares here while my mom can easily count 30 when she is out for a walk where she lives. A little bit later a roebuck crossed the trail in front of me, I found a bunch of baby wrens and there was a black woodpecker couple. It was all so cool and in such a short time that I literally said "what is going on?!" out loud. It felt like I was being treated left and right. I didn't get great pictures of everything I saw, but overall it was a very rewarding walk. Happy Monday everyone5

Good Morning Y'all:
Got up extra early after a really weird dream, so I knew I wouldn't get back to sleep. Got up and walked a mile, then after doing a few things around the house walked another .82 of a mile. Really nice start to the day. I'm hoping my yard guys come and mow today...it's getting a little crazy looking at this point, but it rained overnight, so they'll likely wait a bit to let it dry out some. Crossing my fingers for this afternoon.
Friday was the last day at the building where I've worked for the past 20 years. The morning drive into work, was reflective, but as soon as things got crazy, I didn't have much time to ponder anything. The whole department was working to get things done. The Help Desk portion of IT had to work all weekend. I bet they're exhausted. I'm in the Systems/Logistics side, so nothing for me to do but get out of the way. Working from home for this week and then next week, I'm on vacation. I was really tempted to change my vacation week and push it back, because when I walk in on the 24th, everyone is going to be used to the new surroundings at that point and I'm going to look like a tourist in NY for the first time. LOL! Oh well...give them something to talk about, I guess.
I just put a load of laundry in to wash and will start work in a half hour. What's on tap for your day?!
@pupowl in that last section of pictures, I could swear that bunny stuck his tongue out at you! LOL Beautiful pictures, as always...you have a gift! Glad you enjoyed your walk, despite the wind. Tinus was all stretched out and relaxed...doing his job...to just be adorable!
Hope the rest of everyone's day goes well!

Good Morning Shape Shifters!
It is not my weigh-in day but I stepped on the scale this morning and one was the first number! Woo hoo! Now, to keep it that way. The scale read 199.0 this morning.
Keep going!
I hope you all have an incredible day! You're incredible, so your day should be too!10 -
@jessicakrall8 The hare did have a blep, I thought it was really funny when I saw the picture. He was cleaning his paws earlier, so I guess the picture just got lucky timing. When I press down the shutter, it takes several shots really quickly which is nice for birds and sometimes you get cool shots like that.
Today is rain non stop, so no outside walk. I did step for 50+ minutes in the living room to music. Also decided to get some laundry going so my bedsheets are currently in. Now enjoying some tea with Tinus on my lap.
@DaffyGirl88 Lol, that is funny! I did feel a little bit like that yesterday.4 -
I think my favorite part of cicada season is when I get to see a baby bird pick a cicada to eat.4

The football game was great! My husband's Team (Stampeders) won, so he was really happy. We spent the night in a hotel and did a lot of visiting the rest of the weekend, with cousins, friends, and Uncle before heading home.
We set up our outdoor pool yesterday too. So now we just wait for the sun & warmer temps to heat it up. I love the warmer weather, and can't wait till we go camping and boating.

I didn't track all weekend, because I was away from home on a big bike ride for MS. We rode 150 over the course of 2 days. I had a super bad crash at mile 34,,,, i was able to finish the ride only because I'm stubborn.10 -
