It's been at least 6mos. since I made a beef stew. TOL is getting on me to do so. Chicken also.
Haven't made Garbage Soup for a long time. Want to get back to that also.

I do eat soup. Made a soup just the other night from scratch. Wasn't my best effort, but it was tasty. I like soup, and I like the ease with which they can come together. Still have some leftover soup in the fridge. Probably be dinner tonight.

What timing. I had not had soup in probably a year, but we made vegtable soup last week.

I eat quite a bit of soup. I’m currently taking a break from zero point soup after 4 or 5 batches in a row. Today at lunch I had vegetable soup. Something I like about the diner where we go for lunch 2-3 times per week is you can get soup for a side dish. My favorite is probably lentil. But at the diner that’s on Sunday. We usually avoid Sunday there because of the crowd.

I love soup and go through stages where I make it frequently. It's been awhile, but I've been hankering for some lately. Decades ago when the Cabbage Soup Diet was popular, I did it a couple of times and actually loved that soup. I now make a version of that soup but without the onion soup mix. I saute my cabbage and onions in olive oil and use a lot of thyme and chili powder. I also add chicken. My brother once commented that he'd pay for it at a restaurant.

I'm also a fan of lentil and spilt pea. I had a delicious mushroom soup yesterday, so I've started looking for a dairy free recipe.

Not a soup person. I’ve got some cans of Progesso Light soups in the cabinet “in case of emergency”. I’ll make chili, or a pasta and meat of some sort.
