I'm just going to rip this band aid off...
I mentioned when I got to my new place that the floor seemed to be uneven. The flooring is warped with laminate or something. So I decided to have a dedicated spot for my scale and go with it. That was 8 months ago. Recently, I had to buy some, it think it's called particle board, for a furniture project. I had some left over and since it's pretty sturdy I decided this would be a great, stable, flat base for my scale.
Well, that was....one star 😂 😰
Seems I've been off by over 10lbs 😢 I tried my new, improved scale in 6 different spots, and the measurements were all the same. So here I am, still losing, but my goal post is further. I am leaning to believing the updated weight may be right. I had a doctors appointment last month and their scale did indeed put me at 10 plus lbs than my home scale. Lol I even said, "whoa, my scale at home said 220s".
Going forward, I'm gonna use the board and I look forward to truly being at these weights I was really happy about...progress over perfection 🫶🏽
I did take this measure midday, after breakfast and lunch, so I look forward to my morning weigh in next week.

@aactuallyaash I love your attitude toward what probably feels like a setback (but really isn’t!) I can just imagine you staring down your scale, giving it a firm talking-to about truthfulness, and then setting your sights on getting things right! Carry on!

@RoblinB - it's looking up! I just have to remember that some days/weeks are going to be harder than others. Looking forward and not giving up. I have a vacation coming up but I plan to do my best to stay on track!
