Daily step goal: 10000
11-29: 10351
No intentional exercise.
I am getting close to what I entered as my goal weight when I set up my account here.
It makes me both excited and anxious. I am trying not to focus solely on the number on the scale since I am not where I want to be fitness wise. This past week I had an appointment with the dietician, I had counseling with them in October 2023 after blood work came back with less than ideal results, and agreed it was time to transition from weight loss to maintenance. I am going to gradually start adding calories to my diet over the next couple months to hopefully get to a sustainable lifestyle. I am still working on incorporating exercise into my daily routine. I read in the beginning of the thread about being in the “Goal Zone” but wasn’t sure if that was applicable yet? Anyway any thoughts, ideas, or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

@globalhiker You weren't late, but I only send out reminders twice during the week and I always include the day that I'm sending the reminder, so you were included, but you were not late...just "missing" at the time of the reminder.
I sent a message to the MODS to move you for December to Fridays.

Such a crazy week. My husband renovated our attached garage and turned it into a bedroom and pantry area, so my house was in shambles all week. I worked so much that I don't even know what day it is most of the time haha. Hope everyone else had a great week and got to eat yummy food and relax3 -

Good morning Shape Shifters. Didn't check in yesterday because I didn't have a great day and overate on Friday. Yesterday was still a struggle, but I was within my calories and I managed to cook so I am happy with that. I got groceries in the morning, did all my laundry, ripped up some cardboard boxes and cleaned the litterbox. Made some more progress on the current puzzle and had a lazy day. No workout again which isn't good. Kicking myself out of the house in a bit to go walk. Happy Sunday everyone

@indoorsy_ and @Pupowl a few of my favorite puzzles date back to the 1970s and are very challenging. I think I can probably get a picture of some. Now that I'm older I prefer ones with fully interlocking pieces and are around 500-700 pieces. Ones that challenge me yet allow me to make enough progress to not get discouraged. Although I did have to buy one Planet Earth one that is a killer just because it is so beautiful.
And yes I have puzzles that are over 40 years old 😂. And because my husband was in the Navy I have dragged them to seven different states. 😁2 -
@DaffyGirl88 I also don't like puzzles that are too frustrating. I have gotten fairly good at judging if a puzzle is going to be too difficult, though very rarely I will still buy one because the image is really pretty, same as you. I think my all time favourites are 500 piece round puzzles. They are just really satisfying and fast to put together. I have only done a 1500 piece once before and that didn't feel very different from 1000 pieces. I think I also have two 2000 piece puzzles, but they don't fit on my current table. I would need to steal Tinus' table for those. Would love to see your favourites!2

@Pupowl @DaffyGirl88 here are a few i've completed recently! i also have a few that are too big for my current table and need to commandeer the dining room if i want to try them
a gorgeous 1500 peice
very fun and quick latte art, i love coffee!
challenging 1500 peice but i love the outcome!
i finished this one a couple weeks ago, by far the hardest puzzle i've ever done, 2000 pieces plus i was staring at chocolate for a month! not a good strategy while trying to lose weight. got this one free from my trading group, missing 1 piece or a feline has run off with it
such a cute hedgehog puzzle with random cuts
i totally thought of you when i was doing this puzzle pupowl, i must not have taken a finished pic. i think you'd love this one if you haven't done it already
and for christmas this year i have not one but two puzzle advent calendars! so excited
i will post more later! daffy i would love to see your vintage collection!2 -
