I gave up trying to keep up with foods when I was on vacation, and my weigh in was later in the morning than I usually do, so I'm guessing between vacation eating and being sick with a cold, I have no idea where I'm really at. I'm going back to bed now...

I am struggling. I was too tired to go to the gym last night, again. I'm not sure why I've been so tired lately but it's getting in the way of doing what I need to do. I have an appointment on Thursday, and I'm hoping my doc will adjust my medication, but I'm not sure that's the root cause.
I'm going to try to get my eating back on track, as nutrition has been kinda lacking the last several days. And I'll try to drag my booty to the gym tonight, even if I am tired.
But I don't know. I'm just having a hard time right now. But I'm sure this will pass eventually too.9 -

@Zaxa2021 I'm sorry you're struggling. I too am tired lately for some reason. I've already done a spin class and had a cup of coffee and it's all I can do to stay awake and write this. And I'm "working" right now so not a good start to the day.
@jessicakrall8 how is your leg doing today? Are the muscle relaxers helping? And/or giving you any trouble?4 -

I had a lovely day yesterday with my friend Pamela.She lives quite far from me so we get together every few months.We treated ourselves to a Spa Day.We took a train to Buxton which used to be popular in Victorian times.It is a Spa town with original Roman baths & big hotels that people visited for treatments & relaxation.We spent time in the pool,jacuzzi & steam / sauna.Then had a facial & massage.Funnily enough as I was chatting to the beautician it turned out that her husband works with my husband ! It's a small world.
We then had a meal which included wine & lemon meringue my favourite.Im not used to eating huge meals lately so I felt so full on the train home.It was a fun day 😀🎄🍷9 -

Major internet hugs to everyone feeling tired and unmotivated lately. You're all amazing and I am deeply inspired by all of you every week.
This week, I'm aiming to add more movement, so yesterday I did yoga and some resistance training. It was nothing major, just using my bodyweight for squats and a dumbbell bar for rows and bench press, but it felt so wonderful to actually be doing the things I've wanted to do for so long. My shoulder ached pretty badly for a while afterward, but I took some breaks and stayed busy for the rest of the day so I wouldn't think about it.
This morning, I've already done some yoga-- which felt wonderful for my achy legs and hips--and I'm aiming to get in a walk with the dogs once it's light outside.6 -

I didn't feel as bad yesterday as the few days prior, but still not great. I was able to drag myself to the gym for a walk/jog on the treadmill for 45 minutes. My food has also not been great. I've just been too tired to care enough to put in the effort to eat healthy. I need to get back on track. My goals today are to log and stay away from the Christmas cookies! Also, hit the gym again tonight for at least a little workout.7 -

Hard to believe there's only 2 weeks left in 2024. The year didn't turn out quite like I had hoped, but picking up and moving on. This is the time of year where I set the goals that I want to achieve in the next year. They usually involve things like reading XX books, saving XX money, etc. I was intrigued by the habit discussion and thread the other day so am pondering something along those lines. We'll see. The last couple of days I've been caught up in watching YouTube videos on painting Christmas ornaments so I think I'll give that a go today, but first I need to wrap a few presents. Work has been very quiet, can you tell? LOL

Finally feeling better after stomach sickness along with UTI, it was horrible 😞
Celebrated Christmas on Sunday with my older son, daughter-in-law, my granddaughter, my youngest son who stayed with us for 5 days-left yesterday to go back to GA, my dad and my husband - my dad was pretty good since it was the first Christmas without my mom

Well. I didn't get to the gym yesterday. Honestly, I think I'm just waiting for the new year to recommit. I know I shouldn't because then I'll have to start the new year making up for the loss of progress that happened at the end of this year. Not a good plan, but this is where I seem to be stuck for right now. But I'll do better today and try to get myself out of this funk.9 -

I went on my walk yesterday and my dogs got absolutely mobbed by school kids waiting for the bus lol The dogs were thrilled and we had a lovely walk after. I felt a bit tired and sore, so instead of pushing through, I went ahead and let myself rest for the day, only doing a few chores. I also reminded myself that there are going to be less active days and that's normal with chronic pain. I ended up making breakfast for dinner, watching some hockey with my dad, and going to bed early
This morning, I still felt a bit tired, but it went away after morning yoga. I started to feel a bit of resistance about doing weightlifting, but I've been trying to stack my habits, so I told myself if I didn't lift weights, I couldn't take a shower, which then meant I couldn't get dressed lol It was a bit silly, but it worked and I got my workout in! Today's going to be a work day, so I'll be painting most of the afternoon, but (if I feel up for it) I'm going to bake some chocolate cake later and invite a friend over to help me eat it XD5 -

Happy Friday! My weight is up from overeating a couple days this week with holiday party days on the go and I've been way less active lately. Yesterday was better, I got a 20min row in and played hockey in the evening, made better food choices and tracked my intake. I'm trying to reset my nutrition and food tracking. I've actually kept a paper calendar to track my weight, steps, exercise and calories burned for the past year, but I have not been tracking my food. When I track my food, I make better choices, so that's the plan!
My first goal is to get to 215 by new years and then to 210 by the end of January.4 -
