    Thanks. @Al_Howard -
I found you from doing a search on Lasix .... your name was a reply to something somewhere.

back story... my mom had a severe Heart attack the end of june, now her echo is about 25% Ejection Fraction. They keep increasing her lasix bc she has Edema. which only came on the Beginning of Nov. when her Pacemaker/defib. was installed (hahaha, installed). I'm 13hours away from her, and one of 3 kids. Im ...54yr and evidentially the smartest kid in her opinion as I have the "Legal"rights for helping her do this *crud*. MOm is 78yrs.

I'm up about 5-8# and while I am logging, I'm also eating at maint. or a bit above if I am honest.
I am trying to work thru developing a new afternoon habit - instead of sugary snacks - perhaps something more productive.

I work in Information technology. Afternoons are slow in our work load.
I've worked out and logged food for years. Some years it was serious logging - the last 3yrs... not as consistent.

    i'll let y'all go.
Sherry (from NW. Iowa - but reside in Tennessee)

Wow! That's a lousy number for your mom. She's 2 years YOUNGER than me.
I've been above Goal weight for about 4 months. Really need to get that in check. Maintenance is a death march, which we can shorten way too easily with inattendance to what we put into our mouths.
Hope you have better luck than I've had recently.
    Again, welcome to the board.

Thanks buddy! Yes that was a lousy 6months. We lost 3 family members that month. I was making great head way with my fathers' passing the year prior. anyway.... we all have *THINGS* in life we are going thru. I'm just re-learning how to manage them.

As you said, Maint. is a death march. Inattendance to what we put in our mouths is the #1 killer.

    Onward and forward....
