Morning everyone. Woke up to show so I'm currently passenger in my slow commute in to office. We are off tomorrow, work from the office Thursday, from home Friday, and then we are off until 2025. Can't wait. Brad and I both want to get back on the Peloton during the Christmas break.2

So I am up a bit this week, but it's down from earlier this week. I had 3 Christmas parties this last week, so not surprised about the gain. I will be in RI next week, so unable to weigh, but I'm hoping to maintain the rest of this year.1 -

Hi all - definitely having a bit of struggle with food this week, I don't know why I simply cannot resist cheezits after work. And I know what you are thinking, "why don't you stop buying them?" - I have had this thought. And YET.
@ashleycarole86 so very sorry to hear of your MIL's passing. Glad you got to spend some days with her before. Thinking of you and Brad. Hope you are both able to really rest over the holiday break and find some grace for yourselves. Would love to hear about your Peloton adventures again in the new year!
I did dance cardio today, good session. Hoping to take a nice long walk tomorrow after work. Want to get in a healthier dinner tomorrow for sure.0 -

Another good week for me. Stil just getting 1 workout in a week. Calories are on track. I'm still just counting calories but no macro counting yet. Planning more of the same for this week. I would like to add a 2nd workout.

We went to winter wonderlights tonight. The local science center puts on a light display every winter. I won free tickets from work, so we made it a date night!

My weigh-in last week was: 188.4
Today (CW) is: 187.4
I’ve been fluctuating the same 2 lbs since November, but that is fine with me with all of my work travel, holidays, gatherings, and sheer number of hours worked. I know I need to get back into my groove of my workout regime, which has fallen off because of work, so I am going to do a workout this morning, and then I have spin class tomorrow already signed up and ready to go.
I will follow up soon to catch up on everyone’s updates, and reflect on my 2024.2 -

Hi everyone,
I have been absent from the group for quite some time. This has been a very challenging year both professionally and personally. However, I've decided to use our 2 week Christmas break to get back on track and rebuild the healthy routines I had in place a couple.of years ago. I realize I need to get back to where I was in 2021/2022 when I was nearly 100 pounds lighter and felt AMAZING. I have way too many goals that I want to hit that won't be possible if I remain on this trajectory.
I am making a commitment to myself, using this forum to make it public, that today will be the heaviest I will weigh in the year ahead. Call it an early New Years resolution.

I am done with work until after Christmas!!! Wahoo!!! I took next week off work, otherwise I would've worked 1/2 day tuesday and off wednesday.
We head out early to RI tomorrow! Well, I should say PA since hubby doesn't want to do the drive in 1 day. We will be up and on the road early. Just finished packing and will hopefully get to bed early.
Eating wise has been awful 🥲 Too many tasty treats, candy, and cookies 🙈 I need to get back on track.
@bowens1973 glad to see you back again! Sorry for the loss of your mom, hope you are holding up ok.0 -
