I am mainly carnivore in that I usually only eat things like meat, eggs, butter, heavy cream, bacon, etc. I still occasionally eat non-carnivore things, but I would say more than 95% of what I eat is carnivore. I did Keto for basically a year, and in the last several months I have gone more carnivore.

I am pretty much carnivore. I have fewer than 10 net carbs a day typically.

Hi. I'm doing animal based for sure, mostly carnivore for 18 months. Down 31 lbs this week, another 28 to go!

I have been doing a 90 day carnivore challenge, which has worked quite well for me with some amazing health improvements. Not sure I will continue straight carnivore after my 90 days, but will continue with very low carb. Great to have some others to share challenges, progress and concerns.

Day 40 on carnivore. It hasn't been too bad, no cravings. Lost 14 pounds and will continue with this way of eating. I have about 10-12 more pounds to go. This 25 has always been my hardest to shed. We are strict carnivores. I'm not sure if and when we will start adding a few low-no-carb foods.

I am the resident carnivore here. Wrote the guide years ago, started the group (that's pretty much dead).

More than willing to answer questions. Although, I am quite old-school and hard-nosed about things.

Here's my thread from 9 years ago: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10323001/the-carnivore-credo

I had already been at it for more than a year at that time. I haven't been around here, because MFP isn't really all that useful when you eat like I do.

Yeah sadly it is. 2 people post there regularly though and I admit all kinds of folks here and there but they never end up posting *shrug*
Glad to see you around.

I am really not sure why people don't post. I don't even using MFP any more after the removal of the newsfeed, but I still come to post in this group. Having said that, it is really no different on MyNetDiary in terms of people posting. Groups have a lot of members, but only a couple post regularly.

Forums are just not a form of communication that people use any more - just my observation. It is one more place to log in. The wall engaged people enough that they would check in and the groups would benefit.

Today is my 3000th day in a row to check MFP, so I think I have some perspective on the trends.

I was carnivore till Christmas came and now I’m eating everything (ugh!) I got to the point where I wasn’t enjoying eating and was eating less and less meat. Now it’s been a struggle to get back at it. I even have a freezer full of grass fed beef and pasture raised pork but it just sounds yucky now. BUT when I was carnivore I physically felt really good. I need a hypnosis or something to change my thinking 🤣I do 💯 believe in carnivore so go for it!

I wish I had suggestions to help you. I have not found I get tired of meat. Perhaps starting by seasoning your meat with more than just salt. Thinks like herbs, spices, garlic, onion, and the like.

I am wondering if you need to do a "carb fast." Just eliminate everything BUT meat for a few days. Some people are not good with moderation of carbs, booze, nuts, whatever. That cookie is a slippery slope and suddenly you have fallen off the wagon.
