Maraschino cherries have red dye # 3? Kids valentine candies? Holy Smokes! Remember that potent carcinogen, Agent Orange, used as a defoliant during the Vietnam War? How many of you besides Al and me are Vets?

To my knowledge Maraschino cherries are the only dye colored item we've had in our fridge and they've been gone for months. I will say there won't be anymore. We don't eat fruity or different colored cereals. What I am concerned about is what DW and I are consuming when we go out to eat.
This YouTube appeared about 3 months ago from RFK Jr. I found it to be eye opening.

For clarity, I am a Vietnam ERA Vet. Never in-country. USAF '62-'70. Closest was Korea, in '69.
As I go to the VA hospital, I finally found a "Vietnam Era Vet" cap to fit in.0
