I'm sorry, I messed up the date. The 10,754 is for the 19th, and I don't have step total for the 20th yet.

I probably shouldn't do number-related things first thing in the morning!

Me, either! Then again, it takes me all morning to get past the morning.

Sun/Mon I was off Mon. Watched Squid games and some football with the kiddos. Hung out and had a few drinks
Still working on increasing my daily steps back up to where I used to be at 10k a day. And also, in support of my daughter, I have stopped my late-night munching

Yesterday, I was pretty busy getting everything ready for the week. Even so, I took my dogs for a nice long walk before I started cleaning and prepping meals for the rest of the week. I also did a rough meal plan, so I know what to prep and when. Today doesn't look like it's going to be less busy, tbh. I have work, then training, and then my writing group, so I'm going to be going from about 7 to 4:30.

One thing I've been working on is having comfortable places to land when fatigue hits. I rearranged my room so that I can lay down comfortably when my pain is high and have little sections throughout the apartment that have sketchbooks and notebooks, so I can still do (toned-down, extremely non-stressful) work while resting. I'm having to do a bit of the same thing with cooking, where I have simple things on hand that I can throw together when I'm tired. I'm trying to apply the same principle to exercise (segmented spaces, low effort), but I'm not sure what that looks like yet.

@izzyred9400 Thank you :) And I'm so glad to hear you're getting your energy back!

I'm feeling a little run-down by this point in the week. Defaulting to more simple meals has helped a lot, but I'll be glad to get some breathing room. I've only managed the one walk this week, but I'm going to try and get a few more before the week ends. Good luck with the second half, everyone!

    Good afternoon everyone!

    Wednesday steps

Still not great, got to get back up to 10K. But the fact that I'm posting at 4:00 PM rather than my usual 5:00 AM should tell you that my days have been somewhat eradic. LOL I have a 3 day weekend so definitely looking forward to that. And the temps are supposed to get up above 30 degrees so hoping to get back oustide for some steps.

@Zaxa2021 I have a feeling that you will do better than you think on Sunday. And I know how hard it is to just let it go if you don't meet the time you're hoping for, but please try. Why is it that we are so hard on ourselves?? You have been doing great! Get out and run for the fun of it, split time be damned! LOL Celebrate the fact that you are doing what millions cannot.

Bad scale!! Bad, bad scale! You get back in the closet and don't come out until you can behave! 🤣🤣🤣
