I have lots of yucky bloating today. Sunday to Wednesday I weighed in under 215, so I know I'm making progress. My exercise was really good but I only managed to fully log my food 3 days this week, so need to get back to that for this coming week.
    Have a good weekend, everyone!

@CasandraW Thank you! The new shirts I got were mens XXL and they were super small! Like a medium at most. So weird, I've never had that with mens clothing before. So another package I had to return today. I think I will give up for now. Maybe I can go look in person if I go shop with my mom at the end of the month. And otherwise I will just wear my long sleeved shirts.

@nancyinmiami Welcome back...how is lovely Miami?!! Bet you're not missing all the cold weather the rest of the US has been "enjoying"!!! I am SO jealous! I talk to our Miami office every day and tell them, I think I need to pay them a visit!! LOL

So, catch us up with what's been going on in your life!!! Hopefully you're enjoying yourself immensely in retired life...I cannot wait to join that club myself. I turn 59 in two weeks so I'm thinking 62 is looking like a good target!!

Last few days I have felt really drained and like I was on the cusp of getting sick. Today seems to be better, so hopefully more productive 🤞

Good morning Shape Shifters. Not much going on here. Yesterday was laundry day. Also cleaned my bedroom and washed all the bedsheets. I have been struggling with falling asleep a lot lately which is very frustrating. I am in bed on time, I am tired and then I just lay there for over an hour and a half most of the time before I fall asleep. I tried reading, sudokus, relaxation stuff, my alphabet game and nothing seems to work. Hopefully it will get better soon. My rainbow tracker this week is more a raincloud tracker. I know I was sick, but I still could/should have done better. Tinus woke me up at 5:30 this morning because he wanted to cuddle. I couldn't sleep anymore after so I got up at 6:20 and my head is killing me so that's not fun. Happy Sunday everyone <3

My husband's buddy and his wife came over yesterday and we had pizza. I only had one piece but had too many macaroni and cheese bites. I did manage to avoid the beer, though. I then forced myself to the gym afterwards, and struggled through a 5k. I wasn't fueled properly to run. My weight was up this morning, but it could have been worse.

    Week 3 Weigh-in!
    Sunday

    PW: 252.9 lbs
    CW: 253.3 lbs

I'm not surprised but I'm not disappointed, considering that I did very little 'official' logging this past week.

I'm making homemade greek yogurt in my slow cooker, 1st time. Partly due to the cost of good yogurt and for the challenge. I started yesterday with 1 gallon of milk in the cooker, was suppose to only take 2.5-3 hours to come up to 180 f, took my cooker, on high, more than 4 hours... I was starting to get a bit worried. You turn it off, and then just let it sit overnight for another 12 hours. I was so happy this morning to see it looking and smelling like it should. It is now draining off the whey. I should end up with about 12 cups of yogurt and a few cups of whey. Now I will need some ideas of what to do with the whey... any thoughts? Have any of you tried this before? Can't wait to try it with the blueberries and strawberries I bought yesterday! I'll try to post some pictures.

Unexpected cuddle times with our fur babies are just simply life's little blessing! Hope you ate it up! Also, I hope you feel better...I've been struggling not only with the leg pain/swelling, but also, everyone seems to be coming down with something and I've felt like I'm fighting it off every day!

I've encountered that same sizing problem. I've found that clothing from Asia is consistently much smaller than in Europe and America. Often I'll see a sizing chart for the product that correlates "brand size" with chest/waist size in cm or inches.
I'll give a shout-out to one company. I've bought a lot of t-shirts from https://themountain.com, and they have size charts: https://themountain.com/assistance/#assistance_size_chart
    Their t-shirts are:
    ● Pre-Shrunk, Medium Weight, 100% Cotton
    ● Relaxed, Classic Fit
    ● Hand-Dyed and Printed Using Soft, Non-Toxic Water-Based Inks
    ● Reinforced Double-Stitching On All Seams

I've never been disappointed in the shirts. My only disappointment is that 1) I used to be able to pick the color, now they choose the color for each pattern, and 2) their prices have gone up quite a bit over the years.

@looneycatblue I make yogurt all the time. It’s been years since I’ve purchased any.
I use my instant pot instead of a slow cooker. I heat my milk up on the stove instead of using the pot, it’s faster and I’m impatient. I incubate mine for 12 hours, then drain the whey to make Greek yogurt.
The whey is good in baked goods, it makes a bread dough taste like sour dough. I haven’t used it in much else. This is the bread recipe I use.

@izzyred9400 I’m ok. Most days are good with a sprinkle of terrible. We had a birthday celebration for my husband and I was ok during dinner and preparation but later that night it hit me hard that she wasn’t there. It’s like I know she is gone but my brain just doesn’t fully accept it as true. It’s weird. Like she is just gone on a long vacation and I’ll see her again.

Thank you for the bread idea!!! I love sourdough bread, but have never had any luck trying to make the starter. I'll definitely try the recipe you shared and swap out the water for Whey. <3
