I'm really hoping this isn't part of the fluctuations I've been seeing lately, and is an actual loss. I've done quite well at sticking to my meal plan. I've been eating soup for lunch and a healthy dinner. Snacks are worked into my calorie budget. I also increased protein to hopefully keep me more satiated. I feel like I'm doing just about everything "right" so I'm hoping this loss is the beginning of a downward trend. I've been stuck between 149 ish to 151 for way too long.6 -

This deep freeze that has blanketed the United States is a reminder for me of why I escaped to Miami—I feel the cold in my bones today!! It’s tempting to pull the blankets over my head, but I won’t. I will get up and take an exercise class this morning!6 -

Last week I was really bloated and two weeks ago I was 215.8. I had a really busy week at work and in the evenings and wasn't able to focus on food logging this week, so didn't make any progress. Hoping to get back into logging this weekend. My scale gave me a low battery notification this morning which I fully echoed back at it....lol. Anyone else have conversations with their scales? 😂
It's deep freezing here, too, with -18C dog walks in the morning the past couple weeks. Pups reluctantly wears her booties and jacket and we only go for about 30mins before we are just absolutely frozen. She hates the booties but can't stand to walk in the cold and salt without them.

It’s another jury duty week. We had a little extra time at lunch on Wednesday so I walked around outside.The weather has been so weird this year it is currently 44F/6C and raining. The ground is still frozen so water is just pooling on the surface then it freezes when temperature drops. I would prefer having everything covered in snow rather than the ice we have been experiencing. I am trying to bump up my steps to make up for my slug days.5 -

@p8m6bwghh9 I'm with you on the ice. I was thinking yesterday how the snow we got 3 weeks ago is still here. Never seen that happen in Southern Maryland before. But it's not fun to play in, there's a thick crust of ice on the top. Maybe good sledding for the extreme sportsman but not us average folk. I had a brief image of Chevy Chase in Christmas vacation. 😂😂6 -

Happy Weekend Everyone!
I have a bunch of chores and cleaning to do today. I'm also going to meal plan and grocery shop, maybe a bit of meal prep. I want to set myself up for a good week as much as possible. But my big goal is to stay on track over the weekend so I don't have to spend the next several days undoing the damage.6 -

I expected better this week, I got back into the gym some and played just dance for cardio. However it is too cold to walk the dogs in the morning so I’m missing that activity. I was also careful with my food choices and tracked almost every meal. 😒5 -

@nancyinmiami I was just watching a design show on HGTV that's set in Miami and just said to myself this morning, everyone in Miami must speak Spanish! LOL (Divided by Design)...just love it and seeing all the beautiful scenes of the water and the Miami colorful and dramatic architecture...I made some really stupid decisions in the summer and started eating out again...wasn't really tracking well during that time as I was on a "break"...another bad decision. The things we tell ourselves...UGH! Anywho, started having issues with swelling again, as I gained a little over 25 pounds QUICKLY...anywho...in October, got back to work, am on a strict diet, do not eat out or get delivery anymore, except for occasional groceries and the swelling has gone down again, but still having aching in my left leg from my upper thigh fat. Ten days before Christmas, I went to the ER to have an ultrasound done of that leg from groin to ankle to make sure there were no blockages or blood clots. Thankfully, none found!
I have lost 36 pounds since October and continue...getting ready to go below 300 and cannot wait. Must stay vigilant and keep working! So glad to hear that you're happy and doing well in Miami...I talk to our Miami office a lot and have a really good friend from work now relocated there. She loves it too, as she and her husband are originally from the Caribbean.
Let's enjoy meeting some goals together this year...I'm looking forward to seeing 250 this year!!
