I'm finding journaling helpful after not doing it for several years.
I've known I've not been to a park I love for awhile, but today a friend and I went there. We love the ocean, and were in a very good mood. We both agreed it was what we needed.1 -
I chose Journaling as my focus for the eight weeks. Writing helps me understand myself and why I do things that mess with the flow of my routine. When I first got sick, I spent lots of time reading my journals from the 80's and 90's. It was amazing to go back and read what I had written.1

Journaling can be done differently depending on how you see it. Some journal like a novel others just jot down a sentence or two. When I started really taking my weight serious I used to write down what I ate and the calories. That was before SP where I was able to go on line and track cal, pro, and fat just by entering what I ate. Besides the weight tracking stuff I do a monthly budget. I do it with pad and pencil for some reason. Actually I do it that way because I always seem to have to tweak it and it is easier than going on line and changing things. I do the budget for six months at a time. With the challenge my journaling was in that same style. I don't write a whole lot out... I will just write like watch your carbs, you OD'ed on calories pay attention or write out meals ahead of time. I know some may not think that is journaling so to speak but that is what works for me. I did it for the challenge but maybe not as wordy as some.
