Arg, yesterday it was actually lower, but it's all good, it's better than it was last week.

    Have a great day !

Hi @lauren_989 - If possible, I’d like to post my weigh-in for this week today (Thursday) because I am traveling with no access to a scale for the weekend.

    PW: 181.6 lbs
    CW: 179.6 lbs

After last week with minimal workouts, I got right back on track with a spin class last Saturday, and then two days this week of strength training. I also have been good this week with my meals and my snacking. A protein bar (20g of protein and lots of dietary fiber) and an apple keep me satisfied through my afternoon and plenty of water.

I meant to do a workout yesterday, but I had no clean gym clothes, so I swapped my rest day from today (Thursday) to yesterday instead. With freshly cleaned clothes, I am going to get my strength workout in this morning and then get to work.

This weekend I am going to try and ski again for the first time in a long time. I did ski club as part of my elementary school activities, and have not had an opportunity to try it again since my family are not big winter sports people. Fingers crossed it goes well! I will definitely be sticking to the green trails.

@tim_1383 Could you provide me with your steps for Sun, Feb 9? And @MaddawgMadsen for Feb 13-15?

    My step catch-up:
    Feb 16 - 6817
    Feb 17 - 6965
    Feb 18 - 5990
    Feb 19 - 12887

We went to Chichen Itza yesterday and swam in a cenote.

I am ready for spring! We got an inch of snow yesterday after all the hype around a big snowstorm. Then it snowed some more this morning for a couple hours. The sun came out this afternoon and now it's basically all melted!

I will hopefully get out for a short walk this evening. It is still chilly, 31F, and it sounds like the wind picked up a bit. I had a good day so far food wise, so hopefully it will stay that way! I have planned dinner and a snack if needed, just trying not to binge in the evening like I have the past few days 🙈

I'm finally feeling better, norovirus is no joke!!

It's 102f here today, so I got up at 6:30, walked the puppy (we played fetch on the local school oval, he's such a fast learner!!), and I've baked a zucchini loaf, made a big crock of sauerkraut, cleaned the kitchen, and now feel justified in closing up the house and waiting out the heat. We were going to spend the day in the pool but we pulled back the cover and it's green!! UGH! So I have chlorined it, and the robot is in there doing the clean up but I don't think it will be swimmable today.

I started doing squats again yesterday, I need to keep building my legs up for hiking and the huge walk in May, I honestly thought I was going to need to add weight, but my thighs are burning this morning!

@lauren_989 I hope you start getting some Spring weather soon! It's always so odd to read your posts when it's so warm here. I'd send some over if I could!

I am so glad you are feeling better @Alatariel75! I had norovirus once and never want it again.

Great job getting out before the heat of the day! I would gladly take your temps! It's 31F here right now and my big toes are numb in the house with socks and a blanket (stupid raynauds).

@Kali225 that is a plus getting in a workout! How are you going to work on your snacking this week?

I have had 2 decent days eating and staying within my calorie range! I am not back up to my normal steps yet, hopefully soon. Was back in more pain/discomfort the past few days and yesterday, fatigue was awful. Sometimes I feel like I'm tired because I'm not moving as much, but don't want to overdo it with movement. I have my 6 week post op appointment Thursday, so hopefully I get cleared for more activity!

My poor husband. I asked if he wanted to join me for a walk today and he said yes. I picked a nice walk, not a hike or anything extreme, that I've been wanting to do. 13km (8 miles) later, and he's undoubtably cursing my name, though he's saying he enjoyed it haha.

    Good morning Waistaways

Very windy and wet in UK today :disappointed:

    CW 246.7lbs

@ashleycarole86 so sorry for messing you up with my steps
Can I continue for the last week please and start again properly from March?
If I update my steps from begining of February it will mess everything up

Today busy day for me, we are taking my son back to Bristol University.

I am hopefully motivated to restart journey again.
Last couple of weeks were absolutely dreadful at work.
All because the staff didn't like the assistant. Most of the staff went on strike until the assistant will go. Well, it worked - assistant is gone, but that means there's more work for me  It is good thing, but bad at the same time. Sometimes I have 12 hour days with no time to myself to track food and exercise.

I am sure it will all soon calm down, as everyone promised to pull their weight more when assistant is gone...
    Anyway - here's hoping

All is left at home now, again my husband, youngest son, our dog and I
It is weeks holiday from school for my youngest so I will have less hectic days. I'll make sure I'll log the meals and start exercising

Have a lovely Sunday everyone

@Alatariel75 great job getting your husband out moving, too! Hopefully he isn't too sore :)

@strong_fit_ells is that the assistant you told us about previously who was trying to take over your uncle's position? That is great news!

It's slowly warming up here and is supposed to be 54F today. I am planning on going for a nice walk this afternoon! Enjoying my tea this morning and thinking about the weekly challenge and where I can step up my game this week.

I just want to say to all of our international friends and especially my Canadian friends here, I am so sorry that the leaders of the United States are being so awful. It is a nightmare. I ask you to please do not give up on us in the U.S. There are millions of good people here trying to make this stop. We will fight.

That said, you may not want me in this group anymore, but I cannot be silent. I have made so many friends here over six years and I want you to know millions of us are not supportive of what is going on in our country. We need you to know this. I want you to know this. Please keep us in your prayers if you are the praying sort.
