You've got it! Do you have a daily step target you aim for? If you have exercise minutes for other activities you give me, those will be converted and count to the total so please keep that in mind2 -

This is the first time it has gone up this year. But, I'm still bloated from the trip and stress eating because of another road trip next week. My husband and I are going back to Oregon to visit family. The plan is to take my mom and her dog with us so that she can then stay with my aunt for a few months. But she has been so down about going. I already know this is likely the last trip to Oregon she will ever make, if we can convince her to go. My mom is aging and not in the best health, and it just making me sad. So, I'm eating. At least I'm overeating healthy foods - primarily nuts and fruits. And, it's better to stress eat than stress drink, right?3 -
Most relaxing week in Mexico. Unfortunately it did nothing positive in terms of my weight loss goals but a 3 pound gain is less than most trips. The mental health improvement more than made up for it. Thanks to my beautiful wife @ashleycarole86 for another great adventure and lots of great cuddles. You are loved!

@MaddawgMadsen it is seriously impressive that you had that many weeks straight with a loss!!! Losing weight isn't perfect or "linear" as we have all heard a million times, so don't get down about finally having a little pop up! And yes, stress eating is dependably better than stress drinking.
I am anticipating a gain this week. Why do carbs have to taste so much better than most proteins and veggies? I will ponder this question my whole life.
@bowens1973 love the pics!!2 -
@bowens1973 Those are great pictures! I'm glad you and Ashley @ashleycarole86 had a great trip! And according to the spreadsheet, you only gained 1 pound! Even better!1

EXACTLY!! I’m right there with you pondering that one. Except cheese protein…that tastes good too but then fat! Oh well. Onward.
Beautiful photos everyone! Thank you for sharing your trip pics. I am traveling vicariously through you all.
I’m glad to see the loss, but not sure how this week was that much different than most. My Fitbit is crazy. One day it tells me I’m working out too hard and need a rest day. Then it tells me I’m ready to workout at 100 (some system of checking your stats). Funny thing is, I haven’t worked out at all. I have been battling being sick since January 20th. My heart rate is way higher than usual and sometimes for unknown reasons it has me in cardio. I am a first grade teacher so I do move a lot but cardio workout?! 😂
Anyway, my Pilates subscription has a new 21 day program with ten minute workouts to help build consistency. I keep thinking I must do it then don’t. Ugh. I am in awe of all of you and your workouts. By the time all the stuff of the day is over, I’m spent. I can’t see me getting up earlier to workout at the start of the day. I do know that’s the best time but I’m sure that won’t happen. I’m 60 years old. How do you make yourself exercise when you are tired from the day’s business?
Have a great day everyone. 😊

Today was a great day! It was 71F and sunny, so hubby and I went to the park. Today is the first day I got over 10,000 steps since my surgery! What a great NSV!
@micki48 the last time I got sick, my heart rate went up, too! My normal resting is around 55 and when and after I was sick for a while, it was up in the 80s and 90s resting. Once you start feeling better and exercising again, it should go back down.
Also, I like the 10 minute work out idea to build consistency. When I worked on my feet for 8-12 hours, I would only exercise in the morning before I went to work, or I would be too tired/feet hurt to exercise. My tip is to go to bed earlier!
@Kali225 that pic from France is gorgous!3 -
