@19shmoo69 - rib injuries are so painful. Please take good, gentle care of yourself while you heal.
@katmary71- I just procrastinate re potting because I think it will be awful, but it never is. Also, I worry that I will do something wrong, but I never have. Need to work on my plant confidence. I'm glad you and your roommate are getting along. Please update us on how the mushroom risotto turns out.
@micaroo4 - that's only a little gain and I know you know what to do. You are an amazing maintainiac!

@Katmary71 I hope your pain calms down! I never think about flower farms, but of course, there must be a lot of them, considering how many flowers are sold.

Good morning, and happy birthday to me! I will spend my big day at a potluck lunch at the church. I don’t mind at all. I think the older I get, the less I care, but it’s driving Joe nuts that he can’t do something for me. I told him we would go out on Tuesday after his doctor’s appointment and see what we can do to buy me something pretty.

At 39 years old, I ended a bad marriage and hooked up with this guy I met online.
Next month will be 20 years, and not one single day will I not thank God for the gift of my Joe.

@TeresaW2024 Yes, I was so excited to fit in those pants. And I almost didn't try them on yet. I'm glad I did! Thank you. And the meatballs WERE good! I would have never thought to put goat cheese on them but it worked. Happy birthday, my friend! I think that's an excellent idea for you guys to go out shopping together. I love the answer to your question. Love rules.
Hi all. We went to the zoo yesterday and it was fun. We stayed about 90 minutes before we had to go to an appointment. I am going to post some pics of the big cats. Later in the day, we walked around our favorite neighborhood. By the end of the day, I had 11,969 steps without knee pain, so that's good. Today, I am donating blood and then going to see about an upcoming art show that I might enter. I have to talk to the coordinator.
