Welcome everyone! HAPPY WEEKEND! So glad you're here! We can totally do this! I'm so excited for Spring and for getting active again!
I'm headed to the calorie and activity board to post yesterday's results. I've been having trouble keeping calories before 1,450 after fasting for almost two full days, but I'll get there...
Enjoy your day! I will try to post daily and read up on how everyone is doing.

Thank you Carole for starting the challenge. I did the previous Spring challenge and actually stuck with it. I made some lifestyle changes and I am excited about that. I changed some of my eating habits and started to workout. I am hoping to continue with eating well and upping my workouts. I want to also take self care more seriously. I tend to not treat myself well in that aspect. I am having a glow up in 2025!

Hi, @chocolatemint! Welcome! You had more success than I did. I actually gained 5 lbs. since the first of the year. But I'm not looking back, I'm starting fresh and looking forward! I know it's not going to happen unless I move - so I'm definitely going to focus more on activity this time around!
You can pick whatever day works best for you to weigh in. (I picked Thursdays for this challenge.)
Have a great Sunday!

If you're on a desktop computer or laptop, Shift+Enter should give you a single line return (instead of the default double line). I haven't figured out how to do this from the phone on the app yet, but if I do, I will make sure to share with the group!

Hello fellow members. My name is Mary with my myfitnesspal name Bemybestby60 but it should be upgraded to 70 since I will be 65 shortly. That being said it proves living a better healthy version of yourself has it's bumps.
My highest weight was July 1 2020 at 204lbs. My starting weight for this Challenge is 189 lbs. My goal is to lose 10 lbs and continue with my habits of logging my calorie intake and walking on the treadmill daily for 30 minutes.

Hello everyone,
I hope you have all had a good week and have seen successes and NSVs.
I weigh in on Fridays so here are my stats:
Challenge Start Weight: 264.2lbs
End of Challenge Goal Weight: 256lbs
Ultimate Goal Weight: 155lbsMarch 20: 264.2lbs
March 28: 264.2lbsSo no loss based on those dates. In a different challenge it was a little gain because of the days I weighed in but I am eating properly so I am not worried. Fluctuations happen and my overall weight trend is losing weight so that is what matters.
Have a great weekend!!

Hi everyone,
My weight is NOW 161.8 as of this morning - Oh, NOoooo! I hit a "bump in the road" and "fell off the wagon"; so today I decided to hit "RESET" by deleting all my previous weight entries and updated my starting weight to TODAY, April 4, 2025. My regular, weekly weigh-ins will be Fridays from now on.
I had to scale back my social networking a bit because I've been getting a little overwhelmed; so I'm going to jump off some of the boards I had joined in order to regain some time and hopefully improve my focus.
I am definitely staying with THIS group though! I am in it for the long haul and plan to stay with it until at least June 20 - the FIRST day of SUMMER! 🌞
Very best wishes to all on your own, personal "Wellness Journey"! I will post my weight here every week and will post before/after stats (from March 20th and again for June 20th) both here and on the stats discussion.

Too many birthdays around here! Well 😃, at least thats my excuse! I’m also experiencing knee pain and it really stinks! 🙁Pain. It's always a motivator for me because weighing less makes the pain go away! The rainy days aren’t helping either. I need to get under 200lbs NOW if I want to reach my better me goals!!! 😉

A reminder for myself. This may help others.
EVEN IF YOUR WEIGHT ISN'T DOWN, WHICH
IT WON'T BE WEEKLY, WHY AREN'T YOU
CELEBRATING THAT YOU'RE ACTUALLY TAKING
CARE OF YOURSELF THE WAY YOU SHOULD"VE
BEEN IN THE FIRST PLACE? YOU'RE SO
FOCUSED ON THE NUMBER ON THE SCALE AS
YOUR SOLE METRIC OF PROGRESS, YOU
DON'T TAKE NOTICE OF HOW MUCH BETTER
YOU FEEL AND THAT'S SAD.1 -
@ Bemybestby60 I actually weigh myself every morning when I’m not in a rush. It works for me as “an accountability step.” Knowing that weight fluctuates daily isn’t motivating but what is, is if I notice my number is up I’m more disciplined to make better choices throughout the day. Everyone is different in their approach to how they both maintain and/or stretch towards their goals. For me, when I don’t attempt to “scale the wall daily” I’m less disciplined. Motivation + discipline = Victory!!! 🙌 What applications do you use that work for you? 😃

Hi everyone,
>Sigh!< I'm disappointed with my weekly weigh-in, because I expected to lose more. Oh, well. I will report diligently here but will start a brand new personal chart on Friday, April 19th, ~10 weeks before my annual physical! (I promised my doctor I would lose at least ten pounds by 06/26/25 - but I was 159 at my last visit!) I really, REALLY want to be in the 140's by the time I see my doctor again - even if it's 149!
03/20: 158.4
03/27: 157.4
04/03: 161.8
04/11: 161.2I expect the scale to say at most 159 next Thursday, and I'm going to do my best to get there!
WK LOSS: 0.6 lbs.

LOSSGAIN! 2.8 lbs. (eeYIKES!)Have a great week everyone! (I'm going to be extra, extra mindful this week!)
