This week, I’ve been snacking too much due to hunger after rowing. I have had 3 pretzel rods, yogurt with fruit (mixed berries and/or banana), peanut butter on toast (with banana), a mix of nuts and chocolate bits, etc.
Does anyone have suggestions on what to eat that is satisfying enough while also maintaining a bit of a calorie deficit after the workout?

hi…I’m home sick today…last night started having popping in the right ear but no real pain…woke up dizzy and holding onto furniture to just get to and from the restroom…stayed home and am feeling better

Unusual day for me not to be moving more. Was so tired from the hospital yesterday and snuggled up with my hubby for a few hours while my son played. A lot of people on here seem to be sick - I hope you all feel better soon. My husband is still very unwell.
I am on the fourth day in a row of sticking to my calorie goal! Even if I don't lose weight I feel I am getting a handle on my portions, putting up withe hunger til my body adapts, and feeling much much better in my body.

CW: 142.3Well, at least it's a loss.
I've had a head cold this past week, along with my family. I haven't gone to the gym since Saturday. I haven't really been tracking, definitely not completely and accurately. Sleep has been bad because of sick kids. I didn't eat crazy, but didn't eat according to plan. Or really had a concrete plan for that matter. But I've continued to go on (extremely slow) walks. My main focus was just getting through the week.
I'm still not 100% better, so I can't say I'll jump back to better habits immediately. I'll go back to the gym when ready (not sure when that'll be, I just know not now). Sleep is still not great because the kids are not feeling all the way better yet as well. But I will start tracking my food again today. And I'll try to come up with a meal plan for this coming week and shop appropriately for it.

Meh, was hoping to see a better number, but it is what it is. Back to working out: played an hour of tennis this morning then went to Zumba. This weekend is my daughter’s 23rd, so we have a few dinners out planned. I’ll review the menus beforehand so I can make some smart choices. Happy Easter to all who celebrate!
