Spring is a time of new beginnings. What better time to take that first step to better health? Summer is around the corner! Let's get ready. So this month pick one habit you want to change (or more if you are feeling extra adventurous) for this month whether it be for your WOE, fitness, or mental health. Got the activity down but feel like you can still improve? Spring into action to tackle that area.

As you know, my challenges are always roll-your-own so feel free to tailor it to you. If you just want plain ol' unfancy support and accountability, we're here for you.

Let's get this!

I’m getting serious this month. Knee replacement surgery likely later this year, so I’m getting prepared. Weight loss 25 lbs (not in one month!!) and strengthening my weak legs. I figure the more I do upfront the better the outcome. My focus this month is staying on plan and doing my PT work!

May will be an activity challenge for me. Need to ramp up for my trainer's annual Murph event end of the month. Started this week with 2 sets of 30 squats, 2 sets of 20 modified pushups and 1 set of 10 lat pull downs. Need to get to 10 sets of each by Memorial Day.

Weight will do what it's going to do, eating right will continue, should probably increase my water but need to keep my electrolytes in mind.

Aiming for 4 sets today. Concentrating on protein as well. Had leftover roast beef and a turkey burger for dinner (added shredded zucchini for moisture).

Sorry I've been MIA. Staying on track though; I'm down 13.4 lbs!
    SW: 198.8

    CW: 185.4

It's come off a little slower than I might have expected but after 5+ years of weight gain/difficulty losing, I am thrilled to be making progress.

My biggest goal is probably to stay on track with both my nutrition and my exercise. I had to pause my subscription to The MSing Link (an MS-specific online exercise program) so I don't want to slide into bad habits. I've actually been managing 6000-7000 steps per day somewhat often, which is amazing for me with the MS issues I've had the past 4 years.

A smoldering heath issue has become active to my commitment to the Murph challenge has to end. I'm still staying active but need my focus elsewhere for now.

Did get in a walk and some gardening yesterday.

Went a little over with calories today, but my macros were good.

Starting treatment today but got in a 5 mile walk in yesterday. Taking wins where I can!
