@trooworld you held out on that cinnamon bread for a long time , good for you that you tracked it! That meal planning site sounds interesting. Do you just use MFP for the community?
You really know how to celebrate a birthday, with the doctors appointment lol! Yay you, 2.4 pounds down for your birthday!! I remember, at the beginning of Covid getting my first shingles vaccine, my arm was sore for a week! I sure don't blame you for not wanting to go to the gym with a sore vaccine arm!! It sounds like you had a lovely birthday day planned. Huge happy birthday to you my friend!!!
@TeresaW2024 it was so nice to read your post . I can't imagine what you must be going through, but I am sending the biggest hug and love across the miles. Sometimes staying busy is good for both body and soul, after my daughter passed away it was necessary for me to stay busy. It's so good you have your sister there and that you are going to see your niece's kids, loved ones are the best touchstone. I know your Joe is so proud of you! I believe he is smiling down on you. I have been thinking about you this last week♥️. I'm so glad that you and your sister got out for some shopping and lunch! Having your nieces over sounds like so much fun I am glad that you are getting these joys and sunshine at a time when life can be so heavy. Waterproof mascara is a necessity at this time, you are a well loved woman.
@Katmary71 isn't it funny how the weather can affect us ! When it is gloomy and rainy here my get up and go somehow really disappears. That's funny about your neighbor's dog, a true powder puff lol! I always want all the exposure to cats that my dogs can get. My son's cat will definitely bat at my dogs, no nails involved, not sure what might happen if they didn't listen with the first bat lol. Shauna, Ty's breeder says that dogs just need to learn that cats are in charge and once they learn that then there is harmony in the house :-). That is one long book that you are reading!!
@DrewsAnna it sounds like you have a great week coming up !
@Veta2018 I am sorry that you are struggling physically right now ! Sometimes the side effects from medications are no joke! Good for you for staying under your 1200 cal but I'm sorry for the reason.
@Cornanda sorry about your sleepless night , sounds like a good day to do solo projects lol. Is it work that is keeping you awake? Feeling strong is a very good thing! I have been really inconsistent the last few months and I am noticing a difference, not liking it at all.
@txcritter69 have a fabulous weekend !
Well I am behind a couple of days so sorry if my post seems a bit scattered.
My Agility classes are overlapping for a couple of weeks, so on Thursday I had three Agility classes, I was non-functioning by the end of the day. Friday I did my two classes at the gym and then was really busy the rest of the afternoon and by the time I got home, sat down on the couch, I couldn't put two thoughts together! I have been tracking and doing great until about 7 PM. I really think this is more habit than actually being hungry, I am going to have to dig out some crafts and have them all ready to go for the evening. I have been thinking about it, but haven't prepared anything and when I'm so tired at night I would rather have a snack then try to figure out how to get my crafts organized. my schedule is changing in a big way, my grandkids are no longer coming over for Friday night sleepovers, first time in eight years! My granddaughter is starting competitive synchronized swimming, so has to be at the pool at 8 AM on Saturday morning. We are talking about having Saturday night sleepovers, but I think that is going to be a really inconsistent thing. They are getting older now and wanting to do sleepovers with friends etc., which is so totally understandable! I have been so lucky to have this time until now. It is 1130 on Saturday morning and typically at this time I am getting lunch ready for my grandkids, my house looks like a bomb went off in it and I am getting tired lol. This Saturday morning, I have already taken out my dogs for a big walk, cleaned my kitchen and I'm sitting on the couch feet up, well rested and catching up with my slims! It feels rather decadent lol.
I know there are some readers in this group. I am looking for some new books. I am not good at reading(my ADHD kicks into high gear when trying to accomplish that feat), but love listening to audiobooks. I am not really a fantasy person. My number one love is book series, I loved Detective series Harry Bosch, Lincoln lawyer, K Scarpati, Women's Murder Club, Alex Cross. I actually think I might like any series that involves the development of characters over the years. Any suggestions?

@trooworld - I think the term "birthday shots" refers to something different than what you got. I hope that you had a good day with DH's family and that your arms are feeling better
@TeresaW2024 - I hope you had a good night with your sweet nieces and that your waterproof mascara does the trick at church today
@gemwolf110 - I'm glad you are feeling better and that you can kick the rest of this covid thing to the curb. Cute kitties!
@DrewsAnna - looks like a perfect and happy day!
@laurelfit57 - glad to see you on here more, I've missed you. But as a former Wisconsin girl, I get that you have to make the most of the short summer months, which means BUSY! I don't think work keeps me awake, it's worry. I'm so good at it! It's something I'm trying to work on, but it seems to be part of my nature. You're right about your grands- it's been great to have all the time you've shared already, and they are growing and changing. I bet they will miss the sleepovers though and will still come, even if it's not every week
@digger61 - hope you are doing OK
@bobboyardee - Keep on streakin'!
Got a late start on moving Friday due to a work issue DS had. So, we got the big stuff moved with our van and he will need to finish with some trips in his car. The place he moved to is a home that was built in the 50s and has not had much updating. By updating, I mean important things- such as wiring. There is a switch in the kitchen that must be used when you microwave something…. I guess we'll see if his computer survives this. There is also a bucket in the bathroom to catch a roof leak. His roommate's parents own the home and the rent is super cheap, so we'll see how he likes the trade-offs he's chosen. DD was here yesterday and it was nice to catch up with her. I didn't feel like doing my usual weekend cleaning after she left, so instead DH and sorted some papers and other junk that needed sorting, then we took a run to Home Depot to pick up some things for a home project. When we walked in, a man was walking out with a Christmas tree he had purchased. I took a peek and they have a large amount of the Christmas department set up already- Yikes!
Today I will get some things done and see how long I can stay awake for the 8pm football game!
