@ShockinglyFit, no worries. I did feel better once the food "hangover" left. I hear you on the scrolling up and down.

@gillis1118 my condolences on your uncle's passing.

Today's a cardio day for me. I like doing Leslie Sansone workouts so it'll be one of those.

@virgoreader It makes me feel old, complaining about scrolling. But I was an early adopter of the computer back in the day (1980s) and used a computer in all the jobs I have had since. The last job for ten years was work at home, and used the computer exclusively.

@TTC43 A gentle reminder that today is your weigh in day. So far this week, everyone has either lost weight or kept it the same. No pressure!

Today was a strength day and after I got that done, I did some straightening and organizing in the office/craft room. It's coming along but still needs work.

@virgoreader what do you like to crochet? I will be making a baby blanket in the next few months for my new niece or nephew (waiting on gender first) and making small christmas tree ornaments with bells for coworkers. Last year I made mini stockings with candy! ๐ŸŽ„

@ShockinglyFit I like making dish cloths, prayer squares, bath poufs, and kitchen scrubbies. I made a granny rectangle throw and made a blanket for my great niece.

@lauren_989 @virgoreader I have made a granny square crochet thingie (table topper?) but I usually make quilts. For our family gathering, we are going to exchange handmade gifts. We have been leaving our gifts unwrapped and letting people choose what they want. I am trying to figure out what gift will be appealing to people. Should it be practical or decorative?

I'm really hoping end of next week will bring back some normal routines for me. It's been chaos and a lot of juggling since end of August.

Nobody has a weigh in today. I want to thank this group for serving as great accountability. I know that when I loosen up and give myself a day off weight loss, it takes me a long time to get back on the bandwagon. Sometimes months or years. With this group, I know that I need to get back on, not tomorrow, but at the very next moment. A treat or two is fine, but it has to fit into the daily plan.

Good morning. Today is a cardio day and I might do some stretching as well. I need to tweak my workout schedule to include more stretching but I'm happy that I've consistently worked out six days a week since the beginning of October.

@AnnaZimm70 A reminder that today is your weigh in day.

@virgoreader That's nice that you have become a person who work out six days every week.

@mlhopp93 Any loss is a win! So far, everyone has lost or kept the same this week.

    Hi!

I am so sorry for not posting last week. My mother got sick and had to be hospitalized, and I just forgot about counting calories. I will post my weight tomorrow since Saturday is my weigh-in day. I really want to lose weight this time.

  • ShockinglyFit
    ShockinglyFit Posts: 113 Member

@Flo_slo_mo Oh no! I hope your mother is feeling better now. There are always things that crop up that take our focus away from our weight goals, and let's be real, your family is more important. You are important too. But the thing I am working on is to keep coming back and keep trying. Eventually, hopefully, it will all feel natural and won't need as much attention.

    @ShockinglyFit

My current goal is to get down 30 pounds, to 140 pounds, and maintain it which can be just as hard as losing it.

Then I will attempt to lose more 10 more, to get to 130 pounds, therefore 40 pounds lost but not sure if that will be doable or not for me.

Slowly going back down. It's been a rough month. My 89 year old father is having health issues and staying with us until he has surgery in early December. My law partner is on maternity leave and I am drowning covering her files and mine. I am trying to follow my various goals, but the stress and time commitments in my life are making it hard. I keep reminding myself that by the second week in December things will be much easier in my life (althoug that is also the time all the vendors start sending the office yummy holidays treats which are just so hard to ignore).
