turbo sculpt

going to try this one (on the 5 workout turbo jam dvd). just wondered, what do i need... what size weights do you use? anything else i need to know about it?

    I used a set of 5 pound weights..but some of the moves get a little intense, so I had 3 pound weights ready to go just in case.

    Ya, on Turbo Sculpt i started out with 3lbs and then after i did it a few times, i was using 5lbs!!

    thanks. i think i'll start out with 3's and see how i do. will be my first run through on tuesday!

    It really does depend on the amount of strength training you have done before. I started with 3lb and immediately moved to 5lb. I am now using 8lb weights for all but the section with the tricep pushback, and I keep 5lb weights close by for that.

    Certain moves i can go heavier.....i use 5-10lbs now!

    I did it easily with 5lb weights... so i think 3's were a little light for me. not ready to move up to 8s yet. :)

    Thats right, so whats right for you. Good form is better than lifting heavy! As long as whatever weight you are using still allows you to maintain good form, then you are on the right path!:)
