    Week 1 Check In:

    logging: 7/7
    water: 5/7
    workout: 3/7

I logged but didn't come under cals at least 1 day. I'm usually 7 of 7 on water but it's been a weird week. Workout...well, 3 is darn good for me so I'll take it!

If today is any indication though, it's going to be a rough week. Work is making me nuts...today it drove me to eat peanut m&ms. :grumble:

Good luck all you sexy vamps (and wolves of course)!! Hope you have a sparklingly healthy week!:flowerforyou:

well done to all of you consistent loggers! that is not my strong suit, but i'm working on it! feel much better today back in a routine. yesterday i had an interview and my husband took the day off to ride with me (sweetie that he is) and to help finish getting all of our christmas decorations up and put back into the attic.

of course, we celebrated his day of playing hookie with ihop! but it was goooood.

but it felt good to be back on my zumba ride today, and i've started adding jump-roping to my routine. it is *not* easy! at least not for me. but i saw this one chic just going at it for about 20 minutes solid. she's my new hero of the day. i'm alternating intervals right now:

1 minute double jump (where you put a little bounce between every jump over the rope)
    30 second rest
    30 second single jump
    30 second rest
repeat until i collapse - so far at about the 15 minute mark!

if you need a quick burn, i totally recommend this - even if you have no rope! so far, i average around 140 calories for 15 minutes, so not too shabby on that front. and it's a killer workout!

    anyhoo, happy tuesday, my loves!

    ps:

for next week's check in, let's change the workout to be 3/3 instead of 3/7 - the challenge is for 3 workouts, so if you go over, it should be 5/3, not 5/7. at a glance, it looks like people aren't making the workout challenge, when most everyone is meeting or exceeding it, so let's make that little adjustment come monday, 'kay?

Bad couple of days. I have been sick and my fish just died. Right now I am teetering on the edge of a PB M&M binge. It's not been a good day... And I get faint when I exercise... Great...

Tomorrow is the Christmas party for my department at work. It's catered and I have no clue what the menu is. I am praying for at least one vegetable and one somewhat lean protein. :ohwell:

Work interfered with exercise some, but I still squeezed it in. I'm having an amazing week. I bought some new smaller sized clothes, and they look great. I'll be done with the semester tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to some leisure. This challenge is keeping me honest about drinking water.

Went to see Breaking Dawn for the 7th time today. I am consumed with Twilight right now, but that always happens when a new movie comes out. I am also about 2/3rds of the way done re-reading the book. I love extra details in the book and comparing them to the movies. I just got a new job which means a move to Abu Dhabi. All I know is they better have part 2 of this movie when it comes out next year. If they don't I will surely fly back to the good USA just to watch it opening night!

I just changed my goal on the spreadsheet because if the scale at the gym was right, I lost 8 pounds in the last week, and that brought me within a pound of my original goal

This has not been one of my better weeks at logging, seem to log breakfast and lunch, but supper time comes and evening activities keep us busy and when I get home too pooped to think. Working out is going well 6/7 day, water will be my struggle forever! I just don't care for it, trying to get flavored water is a challenge but I do get glasses a day in. Weigh in day is tomorrow, so I'll be checking back in. Have a happy wednesday everyone!
  • Have given the work out a miss today as I have a poorly 3yr old... Has not stopped crying since lunchtime because her ears hurt. We are both snuggled on sofa with duvet.... Not too bad as i am still 2/3 on exercise...... Had a good day food/logging wise... I log in advance anyways so logging is always good... Water could be better. How much should I be drinking in one day?????? I

I never, I repeat, NEVER thought I would be drinking 8 glasses of water a day. (Did I say never?)
Anyway, because of this challenge, I've been drinking up and you know what, its not that bad. I'm not peeing every 15 minutes like I thought I would be.

I actually look forward to drinking my water.

The secret to my success? Here is what I'm drinking it in...

Abu Dhabi!! Wow! I'm sure Breaking Dawn will play there, but I just checked one theater on line, and it wasn't playing.
I'm sure it will be an amazing job. Is it a long-term or short-term position?

A long term position. I signed a contract for 2 years. If I like it I can resign for more time. I am excited though this will be such an adventure.

Thank you thank you (takes a bow) I am SO proud of my award LOL. My best friend however is disturbed. Oh well she could never understand my love for Twilight. I am SO excited about my new job, but also incredibly nervous to be moving so far away from my security blanket of the USA. This will be amazing though. It looks like I will be traveling after Christmas. My daughters 1st birthday is December 30th and everyone is ready to slaughter me, but I had no idea we would have to leave at such an inopportune time. My daughter will just have an early birthday party and never know the difference.

Thanks, she seems bit better today.. As for 8 glasses, i drink bottles of 500ml at a time... I guess that one of those holds 2 glasses. Would you say that was about right?

Hello my fellow Twilighters! Happy Friday to all! I am doing horrible with the snacking. I am officially blaming TOM. Hopefully I won't see a gain this week  Watching Breaking Dawn so much inspired me to reread the book which I did and after I finished it again I decided to reread the whole series from the beginning so today after I walked my son to school I spent my free day reading. It was so nice ... those of you with children especially 2 under 5 years of age understand how nice it is to have a mommy day. It got me thinking though what other books or series do you all love? I will have some free time for reading so all suggestions would be welcome. If you could tell me title, author, and a bit about the plot that would also be helpful. I have read the entire Harry Potter series which I love. I am actually the Head of House for Hufflepuff in the Hogwarts challenge on MFP. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Sorry this is so long.

Well, it seems my hard work has paid off... I have lost 4lbs this week... Woop Woop..... Needed a good loss as I was starting to get a bit dissheartened with it... Have gained last couple of weeks... I know I wont lose that everyweek as last week was TOM but it a good incentive to keep on trucking......

    Good luck everyone else.xx
