CHALLENGE: WEEK 1 (02/01/12 - 08/01/12)

Day 1 Exercise Challenge - 30 Squat Kicks* and 50 Jumping Jacks

Day 2 Exercise Challenge – 2 sets of 15 Swimmer’s Presses + 1 Extra Mile jog, walk or run (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYwzaUXK6gs) * You may use cans of soup, tomato juice or bottles of water if u don’t have weights

Day 3 Exercise Challenge – 50 Crunches* + 20 Mountain Climbers

Day 4 Exercise Challenge – 2 sets of 21’s + 100 Jumping Jacks (Bicep Curls may be done with cans of soup or bottles of water if you don’t have any weights) + 1 Extra Mile jog, walk or run.

Day 5 Exercise Challenge – 2 sets of 15 Swimmer’s Presses + 50 Crunches + 50 Toe Touches

Day 6 Exercise Challenge – 50 Crunches + 2 sets of 21’s + 100 Jumping Jacks

Day 7 Rest! You deserve it!

Health:- 8 hours sleep daily + No Alcohol

  • sounds good, but no way to sleep 8 hours every night. I have to get up at 4 am, so as I like to spend time with my hubby I have only 6 to 7 hours a night :-) (during the week).

    ooo love the squat kick kick will be fun.. il see how i go on the challenges im doing lots of cross fit, boxing, running and pole dancing this week any way and dont really want to overdo it :D - also love the toe touch video ;) hot lol

    We want to hear you say "I AM GOING TO DO IT" :bigsmile:

    I am doing the Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout as well as Your Shape Fitness Evolved and some Dance Central.
    I might even bookmark those exercises and fit them in to a workout after dinner.

    Today is official no smoking day..... No1 challenge started...yipee
  • Challenge looks great!! Just did day one, but i also cant get the 8 hours of sleep (13 month old) I am going to do everything else though. Thanks again for the time to set up this challenge
  • On the 2 sets of 15 Swimmer’s Presses I am going to use some bottles of wine that I have. I can't drink them for 10 weeks so I need to find some other use for them lol. I am so excited to do all of this. I just got my sister to join this site and she might join this challenge.

    ok so i managed the exercises today (as well as doing 30 day shred) had to break them up through the day and im knackered !! , just thought i'd share , hope everyone else is doing well x

    Thanx for the encouragement on the non smoking....
    I went ok so far as my diet and exercise... As for the smoking part, well I didn't have a ciggy all day...
    Today is a new day and I am not craving one as bad....

  • My diet is great today, going to nandos with a friend so going to have a chicken salad :)

    Will do day 1 challenge when I get home with my mum who is doing this challenge with me.

    Can't wait.....I have missed exercise toooooooooo much!!! and I actually mean that!!
  • Day 2 done and feeling the burn in the arms. Nice workout, think i need to start doing more of these now

    I'm going to fit these workouts in with my 10K training. The 10K workout I'm doing is this http://www.halhigdon.com/10ktraining/10knovice.htm. I've got to figure out when to do each thing during the week with my work schedule, but I will get it done! Exercises look great! Just what I need to get into better shape!

    Ouch..
    Slight problem with exercises from now on..
    Twisted tendon on left foot getting cross trainer out of shed.

    Doc said no weight bearing for a few days..
    Looking for new exercises to do..

    Hey everybody!! I managed Days 1 and 2 of the challenge and hope to complete the Day 3 in about half an hour. I just wondered whether you guys are logging the challenge as your exercise and if so what do you enter it as?

    I just add the cardio to my minutes and under cardio there is a strength training option that I use for weights and such.

    I have done day 1 and 2 and the crunches from Day 3. Taking a break this week from running as I'm still getting over a cold. I ran my first 5K on Sunday and am going to start training for a 10K soon. This challenge is a good way to supplement my running.

    I love it! I did not do a 500 calorie defiect yesterday and I drank some pop =( I will try harder today! I feel great slept 8 hours and do not always get that with a 4 yr old and 16 month old.

    Thanks for this amazing challenge =)
