I should drop 50kg to be at the top end of healthy BMI aiming for 10 at a time. Would love to have 30 off by my cruise date in June.0

Hi all, Im' from the Mackay Region and I'm new to the group but have been on MFP for a while.
I've recently come back to MFP in hopes to track my wellness as well as make motivational friends.

Hello from Sydney
Wanting to lose 30kilos now. I've lost about 12-15kgs from the start of my 'weight loss' but have only just got into MFP recently.
Feel free to add me, whoever wants to.:flowerforyou:0 -
Me! I have about 35kg to lose total. My initial goal is 10kg though, and getting in better shape as I have some mobility issues due to injuries.
Also: Adding a few of you!0 -
I've got 34kg to lose, although I have already lost about 11kg. I've stalled at this level for a couple of months now, but then I've been a bit slack with checking and haven't been walking. At least I haven't gained!!!0
-
Well I've nearly got 30kg to lose 28.5 to be exact with my first goal to be 5kg off If I do it in smaller increments it doesn't seem so daunting.
Cheers from Jacki in Adelaide0 -
OH HAI. Yep, I've got about 32kgs to drop....it feels like a big number but I'm just going to go one by one...0

I'm not even looking at myself as being on a diet, I've still had the odd day where I've gone "Stuff it...I'm having a bag of M&M's" (peanut ofcourse). And hence the stall in weight loss.
However, when I decided I was going to do something about my weight I made a deal with myself...to not deprive myself of anything, watch my portions...walk more...so I don't have to start depriving myself of anything.
Actually...the deal was...you can have it if you promise to walk it off, either earn it before or burn it after...so far so good. The other part of my deal with myself was not to push myself to get it off early. Just so long as the weight was heading in a downward motion and not in an upward motion I wasn't going to be fussed with how much a week. Even 100g loss in a week was still a loss and something to be happy about.
I'm quietly happy that i have lost as much as I have in the time frame I've done it in.
Mind you. After all these years I've finally worked out that I have to work to my strengths and weaknesses. Which meant finding a solution that I could maintain long term. For example: I don't really like going to the gym. So I decided that going to the gym to achieve the weight loss was not going to work...therefore I have not done any hard exercise. But I do enjoy walking and walking is something I have done all my life and will likely to continue to do so, until the feet or knees completely pack it in.
Anyway...I waffle.0 -
i want to lose at least 35kg by the end of the year...0

I have about 45kg to lose to get to the top range of my goal. I will see how I feel from there. I would like to lose 33kg by September 2012. It is going to be hard but I think it can be acheived. I only just start with MFP today.
I am doing this on my own essentially so any help/friends for support would be fantastic. If we stick together the way forward will seem alot easier. It would be nice to bounce ideas off people, learn things from others, just be there for each other on the tough days.0 -
30kg's to loose before May 2012..
Any support would be great..
Im New & very confused on how this site works...
HELP!!!0 -
30kg's to loose before May 2012..
That is a LOT to lose in a short amount of time. You should be aiming for a max of about 1kg a week, after the first bunch of weight comes off (most people drop a lot in the first weeks, then it evens off). It took me a year to lose 26kg.0 -
Starting weight in MFP 122kg. Lost 35kg in 9months.
Stopped MFP 4months ago and gained 4kg. Getting back into again to lose another 14kg until I get to my goal weight.
Slow and steady wins the race.0 -
Perthite with 30kg to lose.
My biggest frustration is that I'll drop about five kg in about as many weeks, then something happens and I gain three back in three days. Wish I could figure out why. It's not like my diet or exercise changes. I wish I knew what the missing variable was in the whole diet/exercise equation.0 -
i started at 104 kilos in oct 2011 and now down to 91.3... so ive lost 12.7 so far (YAY) .. my aim is to lose 30 odd to get down to about 75
but if i want to be in the healthly BMI range i should get down to 60 kilos min... but i honestly cant see myself being at that weight!!!0 -
I have to drop about 50kg but i would be happy with anything over 30kg.0

Yeah I've got about 30kg to go give or take a few, but my main priority aside from keeping these awesome wicked good new habits happening is smashing the **** out of the last 1.5kg of my mini goal of 95kg, then I'll be happy to coast ..... Reset my goals.... Think about how I'm going to make what I want a reality... Plan my attack.... And then smash the **** out of the next 5kgs.
It's not all about the weight though, my arms are getting definition I want more... O want to be able to do at least one pull up, I want to pass my level one derby assessments and claimy derby name through two evils and I want to be able to jump a witches hat (you know the road side ones) & land it oh and I wAmt to do a 5.6km fun run in febuary, that one will probably hurt but hey nothing ventured nothing gained right
I don't think thats asking to much I know I can do it I just have to work for it0 -
oh god it's so nice to see people here that have lost weight and need to lose a good amount, ideally mine is 40, but hell, I'ld be happy to be 100kg, add me if you'd like, I made some friend with lovely people here.
I'm suppprotive, sometimes I won't log in for a day, but that's because I caved.
I am doing Lite n' Easy five days per week, and two days on my own.
Sent through friend requests to me and others, I've already made a few and love reading their diaries.0
