Hi!!!
I've just done day 4 so a day ahead, but I'm trying to decide what to do on wednesdays when I have my reformer pilates class, dont know if it will kill me to do pilates and 30ds on the same day!0 -
What a great idea! Joined!
So far Day 2 has been good. The workout was easier and I recovered much faster. I have decided to have some protein powder after the workout too. Fiance says his arms are sore and he may do it again today, just work through it so it hurts less. I hope he does since it will help keep me strong knowing that he is doing it too.
Here's to a very tough 30 days.0 -
My husbands doing it with me too, and he is finding it harder than I am, which I secretly love as he's always been fitter than me!0
-
I love the feeling im feeling after day 2! Any one elses doing this AND a workout?? Im doing 30 DS at 5am, and then a normal workout in the afternoon/evening. Usually 30 min elliptical.0
-
I'm doing 40 min walk as well, but thats not really a workout0
-
Tell me if the "Hottie" Valentine candy as our group picture is a bad idea. LOL!
I did the 30DS this morning and combined it with my normal gym workout and I made it through. I'm sooo tired now but feel good for accomplishing it. I'd say, try it. If you're miserable on Thursday then don't do it the next week.
I think I'm going to start a new Topic for each day so we won't have tons of comments on one thread. I'll just name them the day we're on.0 -

My fiance is far more fit than I am but I am more flexible than he is. His biggest complaint with 30DS was the stretching at the end! What a goof.0 -
Nah the candy is cute!
Yeah i think i will try it, never know if I dont give it a go hey?!
lol at the stretches!0 -

After I recoup from the 30DS I really do feel like doing more active things.0 -
It's definitely a work out but I did it first thing this morning and I've felt great ALL day. I feel more energized. And btw love the group pic! :blushing:0

That is a great idea! Today will be my day 3. My legs are pretty sore today and I can definitley feel the tightness in my ab section.0 -
I like the candy picture. I did day 2 today and it felt really good although I can't do all the pushups. I've changed my mind and I'm going to try to do it every day. I have volleyball on Tuesdays but will try to get it in beforehand. Wednesdays I signed up for a fitness class but I think it will be similar to the 30DS. I guess I'll find out for sure this week.0

love the picture! day two completed! was suuuuuper sore this morning, and it hurt like hell to start the workout today, but once i got warmed up, i actually found it to be a little easier than yesterday. excited to keep working and have all of you hotties to keep me motivated!

I wasn't planning on doing an extra workout but am finding myself pretty energised when the 20 min are up, so today I did extra strength and cardio. I just started working out regularly though, so I don't want to push myself so much that I get sick of working out.
Btw, great idea making this group! Looking forward to following everybody's progress. I just finished day 4 and haven't started making excuses yet :-P0 -
I have idea How I'm going to do this as I'm so sore that it hurts to walk but if all of you did I better get my azz up and do it. Here goes!0

I am new here...are you guys doing the 30 dya shred by Jillian? I did it once last week and it killed me. I am starting again tonight. I am a weakling!! LOL0

Join us and keep up with it!
Even if it kills us we'll get better at it. It really does get easier, even on Day 2!0 -
I did a little Zumba after my 30DS... A little tired now but definitely did better than yesterday. Today was my day 2...0

I feel like since Im working out at 5 am with Jillian, I mine as well do something at night… I thought I’d hate 5am workouts, but it actually helps me remember to stay on a clean path all day with the sore muscles early! LOL0

Accomplished day 2 and already feeling stronger. Day one the jumping jacks kicked my butt. lol. So I'm thinking of adding extra cardio to my workout. Hitting the gym tomorrow morning bright and early!!!0

Hi guys, I've just jumped in this group, hope it's okay, I don't have 30 Day Shred as I'm in Australia and can't find it here, but I am on Day 3 of JM's Ripped in 30, which sounds pretty similar. Day 1 nearly killed me -- I had to have a lie-down for 1/2 an hour after i finished lol, as I thought I was going to pass out -- my 16yo DD did Day 1 yesterday and had to do the same Day 2 was ok, I felt good. I'm about to go and do Day 3 in a minute. Do any of you do it first thing in the morning? I want to do it then, but am worried about being wiped out for the rest of the day -- not a problem while I'm on holidays as I am at the moment, but when I go back to work, walking around like a zombie is not conducive to getting any work done :ohwell:
Looking forward to seeing everyone's progress0 -
Day 1 done. I also did an hour on the wii with Just Dance 3. I think that is a really fun way to workout & burn calories. I had planned on going to Zumba tonight, but I have a head cold that decided to knock me off my feet for the rest of the day. Hoping day 2 will be good.0

Today is my day 1 and I'm about 8 hours post workout and I am sore!! I have been working out consistently (hard) 4 to 5 times a week and so I'm in pretty great shape - well, she sure showed me! The strength sections killed me a bit. It was a relief to move on to the cardio and ab circuits! I love knowing that I was working some different muscles than I usually do and am looking forward to seeing some real results. I'm still doing regular gym workouts and spinning classes, but will probably take it easy at the gym as my body gets used to this. Thanks for the group, looking forward to seeing everyone's progress!0

I'm in melb, and I got it from JBhifi online for $15 and free post, only took a few days to get here too0 -
Day 2. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. Even though my muscles were so sore, it felt okay. Looking forward to tomorrow. Well maybe not, but I Plan on doing it in the morning before I get ready for work.0

Yikes! From everyone else's posts I seem to be the minority here, but I was struggling more from tonights workout (L1D2) than yesterday. Probably because I was slightly sore from day one I'm sure. Anyway, my hubby is doing it as well with me, and it is so nice to have someone to share the pain with me during the workout! Good Luck tomorrow everyone!0
-
Thanks for starting a group! I feel this will help me stay motivated while keeping in touch with everyone. I did L1D2 early Monday morning. My thighs are so sore right now lol. Pushups are a struggle but I did try a few. Jumping jacks, butt kicks, jumprope....ugh they all kill me. What I did today was to just jog in place to keep my heartrate going when I couldn't continue with the cardio she did. My own lil modification lol.
On day 1 i also did Leslie Sansone's 3 mile super walk and will continue to add that when I can.
I plan to also get back to my zumba classes at the gym. I really want to lose the weight this time!
I'm ready for day 3 in the morning!0 -
Can someone please fill me in on what is involved in the 30 Day Shred?:ohwell: :blushing:0
-
It's really just a cardio dvd, that you follow, 3 minutes strength, 2 min cardio, 1 minute abs, and you do this 3 times. There are 3 levels and you do each level for 10 days
I just did level 1 day 5, some parts are easier, some parts are just as hard! For some reason I really struggle with the first lots of jumping jacks and skipping, but the last lot I can do!
Do you think we should have 3 threads? One for each level, then we can talk in each level, as everyone seems to be a little bit different in their days?0
