I'm going to have to pick up in February; made it in December, but between recovering from my marathon in early January and my sister being admiitted to the hospital with bilateral pulmonary embolisms a week ago, I've fallen off the wagon! Hoping to get some runs in for the rest of the month, but definitely won't be hitting 100 in January. Thank goodness there's always February (and March, and April..)!

Thanks for the invite! I am woefully behind schedule. I picked up a twinge in my left hip earlier in the month and so have been giving the running a miss lately. I have been trying to walk without pushing myself too hard but I want to heal! - However I'm looking forward to pounding the pavements with much gusto in the coming months!0

Thank you for the invite. I am officially starting Feb 1 but I am doing it now the rest of this month to be in the flow. Started Jan 24th.
Good goal to stay motivated. Mine will be treadmilling fast pace walking combine with running ( on treadmill) abot 3.3 mile per day or more...time permitting.0 -

Thanks for the invite! I'm not sure if I'll make the 100 this month, but I'm plugging away at it. Next month will be challenging, as I have to complete my miles before Feb 25, as I will be on VN and not taking my Omron with me. Should be pretty interesting!0

Thanks for the invite :happy: I'm nowhere near close to 100 for January, but I can get 1/2 way there with what I already have and hitting my treadmill over the next few days.
There are 11 more months in this year for me to make up my deficit
I know I CAN do this since last year I was putting in 100+ miles walking and running on my treadmill. I just have to get my butt in gear and get busy.0 -

Thanks for the invitation! I try to do 90 min at a time on my treadmill. Rolling hills with an incline going up to 6, variably programmed, at 4.2 km. max speed. That gives me 6 km at a burn of 500 calories.
Seeing 100 miles is 170 km, I need to keep at it. Am just a little over halfway there now.
I do Tai Chi twice a week, and swim and aqua-fitness for more two days. The three remaining days are for my treadmill walks, especially in winter because it is so icy outside.0 -
With a week to go I am at 72.63 all walked or jogged. I don't think that I am going to make the 100 this month. Although I might . i am going to push for it !0

Yay! I was wondering what happened to the 100 miles in January thread! Good to see everyone! Posting my progress is definitely keeping me motivated! For some crazy reason, I decided to run AND start the 30 Day Shred yesterday! (Nope, don't feel guilty at all about resting today!)

I posted this group because I enjoyed sarah307's challenge so much. A couple of days ago I could no longer post or see everyone's progress as the Jan thread ran out. I couldn't find any new thread and was hoping to connect up again with everyone to see how we all were doing so I just figured we could keep on going as a group if anyone was still interested. Looks like we all missed sarah307's 100 mile thread!0 -
